Yes everything you said!! I hear this song all I see is Kevin Bacon and his buddies riding mini bikes to go dress up the building for their dance. Lol. I was a teen when Footloose came out and this movie was the biggest chick magnet! If you asked a girl out to see Footloose they could not say no. Even if they already saw the movie. I took 4 different girls to see Footloose.

You really should review Footloose (the original with Kevin Bacon). Not only does this song come from it but the story is based on true events that happened in Elmore City, OK (changed to Beaumont for the movie) in the late 1970’s. You’ll love the movie and the music.

You have to react to the movie "Footloose" which made Kevin Bacon a household name and also had great supporting turns by John Lithgow (who was actually really good in this) , Dianne Wiest, the late Christopher Penn (brother of Sean Penn) and Sarah Jessica Parker who was in her "Square Pegs" days when this came out. The soundtrack, with Kenny Loggins title track (which you have to review next for his songs) was one of the biggest soundtracks of not only the 1980's but of all time. I remember buying the "Footloose" tape and trying to dance to those songs when I was a kid. Both "Footloose" the movie and song are MUSTS for your channels.

He truly was the movie soundtrack master in the 80’s as this is from the movie Footloose. Some other great songs to check out by Kenny are: “This is it” with Michael McDonald backing vocals, “Heart to Heart”, “Your momma don’t dance” (Loggins and Massina) and “Don’t Fight It” his epic duet with Journey’s Steve Perry

Oh so many! He is literally one of my vocal influences. Like Paul McCartney, he has a vocal range that runs from sweet to rockin and low to high and pure. Great songwriter! Most of his biggest hits are energetic movie songs which include "I'm Alright", "Footloose", and "Danger Zone" but he melts my heart with "Danny's Song" and "House at Pooh Corner". He's got the intricacies of love and relationships with "This Is It", "Whenever I Call You Friend", "Love Will Follow" (damn sexy jam), and "The Real Thing". And Christmas is just not Christmas without "Celebrate Me Home". Have fun exploring!

I just realized that the main girl in the video is Virginia Madsen. She was in a couple of movies that same year. One was the atrocious David Lynch version of Dune. The other was Electric Dreams, in which she plays a concert cellist. The main male character is an architect who buys a computer that becomes sentient and acts as a catalyst for the relationship between the architect and the cellist. It was one of my guilty pleasures to watch on HBO back in the day. More recently she played Maya in Sideways opposite Paul Giamatti, another of my favorites.

I love Kenny Loggins! Meet me halfway, For the first time, Return to Pooh Corner, and Footloose to name a few. Kenny Loggins also made an album called Return to Pooh Corner that has many favorite songs from childhood movies.

Kenny is an amazing singer/songwriter. You will definitely enjoy his stuff. Very theatrical and emotional. One of my favorites is "Forever," but my favorite favorite is "I'm Alright " from Caddyshack. (Just realized you already reacted to that one. Nice.)

There's a Canadian singer named Tim Feehan who has the same vibe as Kenny Loggins. His 3 best songs are: 1) Where's The Fire (This song was in the '86 movie 'The Wraith' starring Charlie Sheen). 2) Heart In Pieces (Good rocker!) 3) Go Ahead And Break My Heart (Very nice pop/rock ballad that features the sax).

Greetings from Montreal. A little about myself. I am a huge music fan. I was weened on 60's pop and rock while still in elementary school. My first single (45rpm) was Riders on the Storm by the Doors. My first Lp was Machine Head by Deep Purple. My First CD was War by U2. I listen to music every day. I read about music. I watch music documentaries. I have attended upwards of 100 concerts, including Queen (5 times with Freddie Mercury), Black Sabbath, Billy Idol, The Police, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Bruce Sprongsteen, Heart, Stevie Wonder, the Beach Boys, Foreigner, Journey, Yes, Def Leppard, The Cars, ZZ Top, U2 and Kiss, to name a few. In recent months, I discovered reaction videos. I venture onto KZbin daily to watch several people, Including you, as they react to a variety of music. Today, I have decided to subscribe to all the channels I frequent. I will not likely comment on a daily basis, but I will surely make some reaction suggestions. Here are three to start with JOHNNY MATHIS - WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL (Hauntingly beautiful) NAZARETH - RAZAMANAZ (A true rock song) LITTLE BIG - TACOS (Who said music can't be fun, or funny?) If you've already hear or reacted to any, feel free to ignore, but, if they are new to you, I assure you, they will not disappoint ZED

Now you HAVE to see Footloose on your channel. One of Kevin Bacon's best. For future Kenny songs, I recommend "This Is It", "Welcome to Heartlight", "Vox Humana", "Heart to Heart", "Forever", and "Meet Me Half Way". Anyone agree?

Kenny Loggins is my favorite artist. I've seen him live in concert 3 times. And if you are becoming a fan of his you have to listen to some of his other songs that aren't in movie soundtracks. Don't get me wrong, they are great and fun but his other songs carry strong life changing messages. My favorite is Conviction of the Heart. It is from his Leap of Faith album. I'm 40 years old now and I heard Conviction of the Heart at 12 years old and I became hooked on Kenny Loggins. I hope you will consider Conviction of the Heart. Blessings to you both!
