15.00 ludi I am %100 sure that there is a mechanic for removing people out of existence after the expeling it is not to different you just expel them to other world instead of New world. And I think horded must be this type instead of army based cause a horde is not a nation it is a clan (I dont sure how to translate but like a big family that has 600k members). The turkic history is based on horde joining each other and forming an empire and colapsing when the leading horde shows weakness. The ottomans was formed by hordes as well and one of the sultans (Mehmet II./conqueror If I remember right) splited the horde peoples all around the realm for them to not unitify and rebel.

I don’t think that Prussia really fits into the idea they have for ABCs. Prussia was a feudal kingdom. It had a lord and vassals and lands and everything we expect from a settled, Euroepan monarchy. Sure, throughout its history the Prussian aristocracy came to value the military and a strong army immensely, weaving it into the country's power structures, but Frederick the Great's court wasn't a battlefield tent. When the Prussians lost to Napoleon and were occupied, they still existed. ABCs are really about hordes.

@zgalexy83421 күн бұрын
@@petrus123321123321 I Completely agree with both points here. Prussia was not just an army. I also think, though, they might make ABCs a part of the mercenary system? Each mercenary band would be an ABC. Seems like another intended feature of them as they are quite literally armies.

But it's not Prussia we are talking about. It's the Teutonic Order. I think it's to emulate the "Crusader" aspect of the Teutons. Once you found Prussia, I guess you turn into a normal settled country. But if, before that, the Teutonic Armies are crushed, then all their territories collapse into weak independent provinces. I think the ABC system fits well with the Teutonic Order.

I am wondering how they are gonna portray the hanseatic league because realisticly cities where thrown out and rejoined on multiple occasions because of disagreements so how will they show that in the game.

Trade companies will most likely be entities that can be invested in by the overlord or other countries while propably incrasing the profits from a colony massively. This would make sence as it would both be great for income but would also have the readonable downside of enriching your neighbors/rivals. Also I think the companies will be able to autonomously buy out your overseas buildings and use them to empower themselves and build a navy or a mercenary force.

4:00 Nomadic steppe societies were not just "roaming around", they were much more organized that we often imagine. They had an aristocracy, a complex administration, census and army system and their territory functionned like actual states, except that it was just a bit more decentralised. And all of this already existed way before the birth of Genghis Khan. If you're interested I can give you some sources about recent discoveries by modern historians, who crossed mongol, muslim, chinese and western sources to depict the Mongols and other nomadic peoples more accurately

Bro the idea of society of pops is so cool, like imagine playing as THE cossacks. The mere existence of that mechanic would made things so much more interesting specially in borderlands, where you can try to sway these peoples to your side and integrate them. There's also so many cool options for these societies, from memory i can think the cossacks, the janissaries, the migrating jews and maybe the pirates! The thing is most of these guys would be State-less societies or parallel States within other countries, so cool and will probably make the game much more historically accurate

@mythicdawn957421 күн бұрын
I don't see why they would hide it, it seems obvious this is the most logical option to make Rebels as ABC. instead of having your country instantly split into loyal and rebel regions, you'd get one or multiple rebel armies popping up in rebellious territories, and as long as you don't kill them even if you chase them off your territories, they will try to come back or die from bankruptcy (no money, no army, no rebellion). And it would allow other countries to actually have a real diplomacy with the rebels too. You could give them money, or a territory of yours if you want them to stick around despite their defeat. etc.
@vitrous221 күн бұрын
I'm assuming the incentive for having trade companies around the world will correlate with the amount of control over the region. If I'm not mistaken, control decreases drastically the further away land is from your capital. So If a subject is a trade company they have more control, thus giving the overlord more benefits from the land they would otherwise have themselves

I am Turkish so I have obviously learnt about old Turkic nomadic confederations and our history teachers always calls these countries as "Army-Nation" so that the entire nation is the army. Therefor you can imagine that as soon as I was ABCs I have thought of steppe hordes (Fun Fact: the word "horde" is coming from Turkish word "ordu" which means army). But as soon as Ludi saw it he has thought of he thought of Prussia. That was funny to see 😂
