So Funny! Reaction to ISMO "English Is So Messed Up"

We haven't done a lot of comedy on this channel, just a couple of videos for Peter Kay. However, one of Peter's bits "Misheard Lyrics" is the second most viewed video on the channel so we thought we would try another comedy reaction.
Today we have ISMO, and his "English Is So Messed Up" comedy bit. It's a fantastic observation from a non-native English speaker, and he is a genuinely funny guy in the way he delivers the material. We'd love to see more from him.

Hi Coach-couple 😂 Thank you for this reaction. My favourite Ismo performance is 'sleeping around' . It works in many levels so well. Ismo is also a friend to Nightwish-guys and they have kind of a group-reaction to 'The day of'-video. It's worth to watch too. My favourite in Australia is 'to go four wheel driving'.. like.. are we 3 wheel driving otherwise?! (For those who don't know it's taking your car off road) . As a german I cannot pronounce many english words. One that comes to mind is: rural. Sounds like I have a hot potatoe in my mouth and try to roll it from one burned side of my tongue to the other 😂 There are plenty more of course. The famous squirrel for example. Then again native english speaker usually can not pronounce the german word for it: Eichhörnchen. :p Edit: or try: Kurzfristenenergieversorgungssicherungsmaßnahmenverordnung no joke, that is a german word. Well, not that you use in everday-life but bureaucracy language

Ismo has born in Jyväskylä, Finland. My current home town also :) He start from here and 2014 he was selected most funny people in the world. Then he started performing in America and living there mostly. But he is also on tour in Finland (summer time, when it is warm and beautiful in Finland). I think his springboard to popularity in America was getting on the Conan OBrian show. The best Ismo videos are definitely in Finnish. If you are considering to do a reaction to his "A$$ is the hardest word to learn" there are clips from Ismo on the Conan O'Brien show, which is good, but there is also an extended version of that bit on KZbin that is even funnier. Equally hilarious is "$hit is the hardest word to learn". BTW, Ismo comes off as a bit dorky but he is actually a smart dude, studied physics and chemistry and is also a musician. In 2014 Ismo was named "The Funniest Person in the World" as the winner of the international comedy festival by the Laugh Factory. Regards from Switzerland

Ha ha ha ha ha love it. I've never seen this fella but I will look out for him. I don't know if you have heard of Al Murray, the pub landlord. He is so good. A bit Sweary but not very bad. He has done some shows where he is being very Patriotic towards Britain. No harm or nastiness intended just having a giggle. Check him out you may like him.

Every language has these funny and mostly non-sensical phrases to teach pronounciation. Try saying these in Finnish: - Ärrän kierrän ympäri orren, ässän pistän taskuhun. - Vesihiisi sihisi hississä. - Kokoa kokko. Koko kokkoko? Koko kokko. Or in Swedish: - Har du hört om hö ö? To be fair, english doesn't really roll out of the tongue that easily for finns. Completely different language family so the twisters, while impractical, will help with pronunciation. I mean listen to his "situation", "person", "especially".
