ISMO is a really funny guy, and today we listen to the highly requested comedy video about The Word "ASS" (new and extended version). This is the version everyone requested, and we can all use a little more...ah...you know.

Ismo is very smart! In Finland, he studied at university to become a doctor, but a friend took him to one of Finland's first stand-up shows. It was after that, he thought... this would be something for me! And the rest is as they say, history. Thank goodness for us his audience, but unfortunately sorry for Finnish medical science. I believe that Ismo would have become an excellent brain surgeon.

Just a small correction, it was while studying medical physics and chemistry at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland, Ismo Leikola was first introduced to stand-up comedy at the campus bar Ilokivi where he debuted in 2002.

One of the few Finnish stand ups I find funny. I'm happy he managed to break through internationally. He had the same mannerisms when he did Finnish stand up but it works even better in English as a second language. The whole outside view into our culture thing is perfect for a foreigner from a strange land like Finland.

Ismo is quintessentially Finnish. A delivery of some awkwardness, but the fun he's having is just precious. The English language of that many quirks is just ripe for some outside perspective.

That was brilliant! I've never seen him before, and do you know what? He reminds me of another stand-up comedian (although, he frequently sat down) who did a similar kind of thing. May I recommend Dave Allen for your reactions. He was an Irish comedian who tended to poke fun at the establishment, and point out some of the stupidest characteristics of life, not being afraid to offend. I suggest 'Dave Allen on Airplanes' and 'Dave Allen on Adam and Eve'... and there are so many more...

I assumed that I could associate with this channel without being assailed by words being assigned meanings that assault my virgin ears.
