A win, thirty-eight years in the making. Saturday saw Gregor Townsend's Scotland come of age as they put in a historic performance to shut out England and claim the Calcutta Cup away from home. So, how did Scotland conquer Twickenham for the first time in almost four decades?

I had the same feelings man, I felt like it was more of an England loss than a Scotland win but I guess that’s just a biased opinion. All credit to Scotland now, I hope this is the start of their overall improvement. Hamish got Motm for me!

@@chris-ryan Yesterday was my case in point. Everyone plays their own world cup final against England. Scotland have shot their bolt with the huge effort involved in playing England. Wales and Ireland will do the same, near enough kill themselves to try for the victory against the English. It means they suffer fatigue and lack of desire in all their other matches. All these teams need to drop their obsession with England, they will never progress to true world level otherwise.

I agree, Billy needs a rest. Sam Simmonds won't get picked, he doesn't seem to suit the style of the team. Same old story, Chris Ashton, Alex Goode, Marlon Yarde, Danny Cipriani, Mike Brown. They were all arguably at one point the best in contention, but never got picked. It is clear Eddie likes to play to a game plan and he doesnt like players who play for themselves, in this case its unjust as these guys set up and score tries.
