So..., I finally listened to Nightwish Sway..., I had to do it twice, few days apart. (Reaction)

They always do. :) It's really a special way to experience this album, it's so weird to look back at the first time listening, after you listened to a song more often, the new things you hear, things you notice after the tenth time, I wonder what I will find after the 100th. :) Thank you, always looking forward to your comments.

Sway is probably in my top 2 or 3 from the album at this moment. Whenever I'm listening to the album and it starts, I'm just instantly excited.

It is so wonderful that you experimented with listening to a song multiple times - and had a different experience with it. That’s one of the many gifts from Nightwish. This is my second favorite from this album (after Lanternlight) - both bring tears every time. I hope you’ll do more multiple listens - haven’t seen any other “reactors” do so and it’s interesting….

Was very eye opening for me and really interesting, I'm also a bit proud that I recorded another one, even tho it doesn't perfectly fit. :) I listen to the album every day now (just the song I reacted so far) and will continue to do so. If I think It would add any value, maybe I could do another one on the Album, but no idea how that would look yet. :) Thank you so much for your thought provoking comment.

Great reaction!! i really enjoy your reactions, you should have many more subs imo.. I will say this, even i have been a NW fan since 2004, i still find new ways to listen to many of their songs, songs that i already heard 100 times. This one also took me a few listen to fully accept as a great song, , but i do think its a beautiful piece, with a nice message. Well lets say this song is about a new child in this world, that should go experince life, feelling a bit immortal, before the big reveil tells him, he actually is mortal, i kind of like that approch to it, and thats proberly how i take what the song meaning is for now, and you then could say that this Left/right headphone voices, is because you are the child in the middle hearing your parrents out, from both sides..lol, well just a attempt to justify it.. I do think its a good song to listen to, its not boring, as i maybe did think at first listen, its a really nice song for the ears, and the drum part in middle, gives the break it needs, and as you mentioned to, their is a lot going on in background as well.. Btw, i dont mind long videos, its better to make them long, if you wonder about stuff, and share that with us, sometimes these moments are the moments that gives me a new view on something as well, and i like that..

Thank you, that's super nice, but to be honest, I'm overwhelmed and thankful for the insane amount of subs this channel already has. Wouldn't have dreamt it. Yea, it's a lot like a great painting, sometimes you discover something new when you look at it at the 100t, or even 1000th time, that's what makes art timeless, I think. :) Thank you so much for your interpretation, it gave me a new look on the song as well, very interesting to think of it as a child and the parents talking to it, from left and right. The extreme paning on the voice was what through me of at the first listen, because it was so extreme, Floor almost ONLY left and Troy ONLY right, but as I said, that also had to the with my headset, on my earpods, they merged way better. :) I also really appreciate your view of the child 'being' immortal until the big reveil. The big human dilemma, of being aware of our mortality is such an interesting topic. One of my favourite books is 'The Denial of Death' by Ernest Becker, can strongly recommend, if you are interested. Super soothing song and the drums, they feel so good, so warm, so natural. Thank you for saying that, usually I don't mind either, if it'S not boring, but I would have liked to make it better still, but it is what it is now and accepting that is huge for me. xD Thank you so much again, for your comments.

Sway is such a nice gentle little piece of music, gives me last unicorn vibes, I don't know why, but it does 😊 Cant wait till you explore "something wispered follow me" by personal fav from Yesterwinde although the other songs like "ocean of strange islands" or "lanternlight" are really strong works of art.

Cooler Song von NW. was soll ich sagen, ich bin völlig Floored. ich kenne sämtliche NW-Songs würde ich sagen, viele davon höre ich laufend. täglich. vielleicht etwas verrückt. Schau dir mal auch Hellfest 2022 live an.
