Today is my birthday and to celebrate... well I thought I'd do something that I absolutely hate - play top tier in War Thunder. Should be fun!

The problem with the Abrams right now is just inaccurate armor values. Which is understandable as the actual armor package values are classified, but we know they exist. I find that it’s best to use the Abrams to engage targets from range and from behind cover.

Armour is fine on it, i know it's inaccurate but so is every other tank. The biggest issue with the Abrams is the turret neck

I feel like 8.7 to 9.3 are the sweet spot for dart slinger and atgm gameplay. After that it just gets ruined by half the team being one death quitters, Op cas(ka 50),and most of the maps are just too small and the games end in the first 2 minutes to a spawncamp. Having almost grinded the whole Swedish ground tree, I rather just start a new tree or go to 3.7 or 4.0 since the non premium economy is so stagnant at top tier. At least give us a incentive to play top tier like earning way more sl if your gonna have high repair costs.

The "HEAT-FS" that the abrams gets is actually a multi-purpose round, it is basically HEAT, HE and HE-VT all in the same package

Also the S E P stands for System Enhacement Package and why they put that on was bc of the Iraq war the iraqies would use rpgs through windows at close quarters against tanks so they put the SEP package on to stop that ALSO top tier is a repetitive thing the 2 steps to winning and getting better are playing it a good bit and then choosing a good nation for top tier I reccomend sweeden Germany or France cuz those are quite literally the best

In theory, over time the average depth of top tier lineup will be higher and top tier games will be more lively, but for now half the players in any given match have a single tank and that's not conducive to great games.

I dont like top tier because i usually only get 1 or 2 kills and its riddled with cheaters. They know when you are aiming at them and know locations of all enemy's on the map can kill you through cover and have aimbots too.

Top tier are just not for me. the only reason i played war thunder are for the ww2 and some early cold war vehicle. Cause i love ww2 vehicle. Everytime nation i grind touches 7.7 i usually stop there and just started new nation. So top tier it just not for me
