Why wouldn't Pete cap run at 19:05? He had 28 troops, against a 15 cap and a 1 cap. I would've assumed the correct play in a game of RISK (Cap Conquest) would've been to take both caps, splitting 4 at 19:07 (4 for the 1 cap) leaving 23 against the 15 cap. The only thing I could think of is if the 23v15 wasn't a 100% roll.

By the time he saw the cap with 1 troop it was already too late to attack the 15 cap. He couldn't have known.

Im bit new to this game, but I dont understand why you didnt take the whole of west north Africa to get another continential bonus and then guard your troops next to Greece capital and next ro the Italy territory, when thoese two places were the only ones where some player from rest of Europe could access into your north-Africa territory. Could you please explain me why you didnt take the west north-Africa territory, when I would have done so, when im bit new to this game and I dont get why you didnt do so.

With progressive when you kill a player you take their cards. Which I eventually did and when I did I got way more troops from that trade in then I would have for that bonus

I’m confused as to why you didn’t kill black and yellow when they were inside of you, to then get two more regional bonuses? I’m new to the game so I don’t really understand what “kill guarding until the right time” means 😅

When you take someone's last territory you get all of their cards. You're not allowed to hold 5 cards in your hand on your turn, so if you go over 5 you immediately have to cash in some of them for troops. In Progressive mode, the amount of troops you get for trading in your cards goes up each time someone trades in. So in the early game it doesn't mean much, but in the late game it can be massive. By keeping Yellow and Black alive inside his territory, Pete prevented anyone else from killing them off without going through him first, which is what "kill guarding" means. Once you know that it's their last territory you can then kill them and claim their cards at any time, but if they don't have many cards that's not really worth much. On the other hand, if they have a lot of cards in the late game you can easily get 50 or more troops from trading in their cards. But if you wait too long, someone else might be able to break through you looking for the kill, or they might trade in their cards for troops on their own, which can be a disaster. So balancing the risk vs. reward of that is what he meant by waiting until the right time.

I mean, he intentionally set it up in such a way to make it more likely for him to get the kills. It's a bit of a wording difference, but it's not like just any player could've set that up, when you say he got 'fed' it sounds like there was no input on his part. Obviously took a bit of luck too, but maximizing your chances is what it's all about.
