So I tried playing CYBERPUNK 2077's Newest Update...

Upon many of yours request, we're making a special exception to return to Night City! Given this won't be a repeat, I decided to bend before venturing to other games in the series since I feel the Edgerunner update has brought the game to a level where it's easy to recommend that it's important we dive in and show it all off!

Wish it was acid rain like in the lore. Might have been too annoying during testing or they simply never made it to begin with but I definitely think it would be a cool game mechanic to avoid the rain like the plague while jumping from cover to cover during a fight since one logically couldn’t carry an umbrella during a fight or fight efficiently with a huge hood covering your eyes

I like matty but this is what I cant stand about him. Having your own opinion is 1 thing. He should not give games that flop so hard the time of day after launch. Cyberpunk and fallout 76 should be boycotted. He should not even speak of them. Such trash cause hes supporting them by talking about them all. They deserve to lose money and get no attention. As someone who Pre-Ordered Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 and played on launch I can definitely say that the game so is much better! I recently got the PS5 version of this game about a week ago and have been enjoying my time in Night City a ton! I’ve also been watching the Edgerunners Anime which has has been a blast! I’m glad to see this game and anime getting the attention it deserves!

Same! I was playing it on my ps4 slim on my 1080p TV, it sucked but I loved the game I just dealt with the bugs. Then my TV started having issues and found a ps5 for a good price and I had to upgrade my TV so I got a nice 75 inch 4k TV and CP2077 looks incredible

Yeah, I played it on my ps4 pro and to be hoenst I didn't have as many bugs as others but some quests didn';t really work. could never finish a few of them and the graphics on the ps4 pro even though it says 4k enable on the back of the box looked iek a 720p game. like it was BAD. but the gameplay was still kinda fun.

I love this game, have since day 1. I was very lucky and never had any issues. 1 thing I wish they would add is the ability to customise your appendages, change the colour and look of your arms, legs, cybernetics over your body. You see NPC’s in night city with the coolest looking gear.

There is a great mod on Cyberpunk nexus thath adds a ton of cybernetic arms. It's called Arasaka Cyberarms, it has many diffrent options. I really recommend you look it up if you play on PC.

I haven't picked up Cyberpunk 2077 but the fact that CD Projekt has not given up on their game got me thinking about giving it a try. I wish Game Studios like EA/BioWare would take note of this because it is sad how they abandoned Anthem and Mass Effect Andromeda. When a game studio abandons their project like EA/BioWare has it makes you think twice about buying any of their products in the future. Overall, I hope CD Projekt continues to work on Cyberpunk 2077 and wish them much success.

Driving in 1st person in the Supron while it’s raining with the jazz station playing is one of my favorite things to do in this game surprisingly. They did a wonderful job with the sounds in this game like the sound of rain on a windshield

Matty CDPR did that back in the first WItcher game as well, when it rained the people would head for shelter like standing under archways, going indoors, etc, and then come back out when the rain died down. It's little details like that that make their gameworlds appear better than they actually are.

Cyberpunk is my favorite sub-genre of sci-fi by far. I was so excited for Cyberpunk 2077 all the way up until release. The buggy mess it launched as made me steer clear of it until they started adding in some patches. I was lucky enough to get it when it went on sale a few months ago for super cheap on steam. I hadn't had much opportunity to play it until recently and I'm amazed at how far it has come since its initial release. I have shamelessly logged in over 40 hours of gameplay this last week and have loved every second of it.

Yeah I only play the game during night. During the day everything looks super bright and washed out. But nighttime the city takes on a whole different vibe. It's fitting that "Night" city is played during the night.

I have noticed that the pacing of the game is significantly slower now (I like it)... I got to the point of no return where you can chose to finish the game or keep mucking about and at this point I still haven't met Kerry and there is a butt load of side jobs I haven't done that I remember doing in my first playthrough. I like that it feels stretched out now but it makes the story feel even shorter than I originally thought. it still feels like you either have to finish the game super fast and then you can go enjoy the slow pace of the city but with zero incentive to do so.. or you can put off the story as much as possible to actually live in and build a character in Night City.. personally I don't think this game will ever be as good as it could have been but this update is actually making it feel more approachable and less muddy.

9:37 the in-game advertisements and the television in general are really awesome. So much interesting worldbuilding in just the television shows, and the way that they report on incidents happening throughout the playthrough that V had a part of is really cool and adds to that feeling of immersion. I would stop and watch television in the elevators until the segments would end, I'd stop by the apartments and watch some of the programs like one of my favorites Mr. Puggins for a while, and there's still a ton of stuff I haven't found.

The Edgerunners update was great for finally having a non-gig activity in the first arcade game. Transmog actually got me to play around in the photo mode for change. It's surprisingly fun! Overall a good update.

People just went along with the crowd and shit on the game for things that weren’t actually issues. The bugs and crashing? Yeah, fucking awful. Personally i feel a 3rd person mode would break the immersion and make the game feel less real, less like you are really V. With that said tho im not opposed to having options for those that want it. I just think I wouldnt use it cause the first person cut scenes, how the characters move and interact etc really made you feel like you were there.

My question is: Have they added anything with Jackie early on? Aside from the bugs, my biggest issue with Cyberpunk was the way V and Jackie's rise was handled. Aka you see it through a cutscene instead of actually playing it. Which not only hurt the impact of V (the player) becoming so well known, but also severely diminished the impact of Jackie's death, atleast for me (didn't help I got the glitch where he stuck his gun in his head when taking the chip out).

my main issue with this game since i bought it on pc is the performance. im running a ryzen 5 5600 with an rtx 3060ti, and 16gb of ram, and this was just locked at 32fps, never up or down, there was no cap on fps, infact i turned it up to the refresh rate of my monitor (165), and still no change. I haven't played the game since about april, would this performance issue be fixed with this newer update now?

Bought it for $25 a few days ago after 1.6 was installed. Great deal and, despite some of it's faults, I really love it. There's just a lot of love put into the world and it's characters and there are lots of ways to play. FYI FOR PS5 OWNERS - the haptic feedback is awesome and very dynamic depending on the weapon or car, if you're into that.

I never did finish this game. I played it as far as I could a few months after release, had a great time too. But the thing that got me salty was a main story quest towards the very end that completely broke my game. I was maybe only hours from completion and it broke, patches didn't fix it for months upon months. Eventually, I gave it up and moved on. Now as it starts coming back into the spotlight I am curious once more. I think I will get back to it. BUT, only after I finish my GTA5 single player modded playthrough, because that has me hooked right now. Thanks for sharing Matty, always love to hear your opinion!

I hope we get more gigs that are longer with better level design and multiple objectives. The three news gigs they added this patch is a move in the right direction and better quality than most of gigs in the base game. They also adding vehicle combat and revamp police which will allow for more interesting gigs. I have high hope for expansion, CDPR is clearing getting better at making this game.

I'd say just wait for the DLC, unless the police rework and vehicle combat update comes first. The I'd say jump in when that comes. Especially considering that the DLC is kinda "extra" and not part of the BASE game. Although, I'm sure some base game changes will also come with the update. I feel my only issue present today is the lack of traffic in NC. It seems to be caused by "pop out". Cars load far into the distance and despwan as u approach; causing a constant decrease in traffic.

I know CDPR dropped the ball with the release of Cyberpunk but man do I still love them. Cyberpunk and the Witcher 3 are my favorite game worlds to explore.

Runs great on the X. Solid 60fps at a high resolution. It's a dynamic res, so it fluctuates between like 1800p-2160p. Maybe with a few drops under 1800p from time to time. I never really noticed it, though. Looked close enough to 4k to me, and I'm a stickler for image clarity. There's also a RTX mode at 30fps that looks to be around 1512p-ish. Runs at a dynamic res, too. It's a total waste, though. Completely trash mode. I thinks it's just like RTX ambient occlusion shadows, which you don't really even notice 90% of the time, runs at half the frame rate, has visibly lower resolution, and creates hella input lag. Just a pretty bad experience, and definitely not recommended for the barely perceivable RTX. The other mode is A1, though, no competition. TBH, I don't even know why they add these dumpster fire RTX modes to these games. They almost always suck, and have the bare minimum to even qualify as RTX. I guess it's just so they can market it as having "ray tracing". The only game that actually did it well was Metro Exodus, and that game doesn't even have other modes. It was designed specifically with RTX in mind and looks and runs AMAZING, with it's global illumination and bounced lighting picking up colors from the surfaces that reflect it. Hands down THE best RTX on console. Especially considering it runs at a high res and 60fps.

I quite enjoy this game, I have gotten lucky with not getting any game breaking bugs, but I have documented some of the glitches I ran into. I play on PC.

So I played the newest update and showed off 1 small quest and an apartment that was actually for the old update LoL. There's a ton of cool stuff and Matty shows off a knife by slashing an npc😎😎😎

Bought CP2077 on launch day. Played it on Series X all the way through to 100%, all endings, and had a blast. It was one of my favorite games in 2020. Bought a PS4 version for the free PS5 upgrade and I will be playing through it fresh again for the platinum once the DLC drops. Such a fantastic game.
