Maybe it helps to be by yourself and have a video camera. Back before the pandemic and I could travel , I'd travel alone and I was always astounded at the people that would come up to me in a bar or restaurant or , really , any public space and start a conversation.

All these people living like this and talking about it was so eye opening. It actually seems like a pretty chill life. I think it would be so dope if you did a 2020 year in review video where you include bloopers and footage that never made it into your posted videos (travel footage, vlog footage, picking up your camera, raves lol, birthday bts, red wine talks, you singing, reels, photos, etc.) Even if it’s like 2 hours long, I definitely would watch and I’m sure your other subscribers would agree. I know it’s probably a shit ton of work to edit but I also think there’s beauty in it kind of being thrown together kind of randomly. From reading A New Earth and just watching your videos in general, I think reflection is a beautiful thing and I would love to overall just experience 2020 through your eyes.

It amazes me how people find others, meet people so easily, chat and laugh. Like who are these people?! Where do you even find them? Damon seems to find them everywhere he goes - it must be him and his amazing personality. Such a foreign concept to me (no pun intended). Also, I've been a hermit at home all year and decided not to travel home for the holidays and it's just so weird seeing people, seeing Damon go places and have experiences. SOMEONE GET THIS MAN AN OSCAR NOMINATION. these videos keep getting better and better WOW. In my own experiences I feel like the greatest adventures truly come from trusting others and keeping an open mind. You certainly did that and have found the coolest people and places. I cant believe the quality of your work and how you are able to produce these videos every week, its amazing. Bravo!

idk how to explain the joy this video brought me. I'm Argentinian, so i'm not accustomed to see small towns or places that are truly interesting. Andy and Linda ' s place felt like a dream. I wanna meet such cool people as easily as u do. Thank u Damon, u opened my mind!

I’m going to miss your Indiana series. 😢 I love how you made the suburban lifestyle enjoyable to watch! My takeway from this series is that at times like this, it is important to breathe and to relax our mind for a second. It is okay to not have our lives figured out, to try out new things while we can and to be grateful for what we have at the moment. 💕

One thing that I can work on with myself is consistency. Starting something, sticking to it, and not falling off over time.

Honestly, Damon makes every place he visits seem magical. One characteristic I want to work on is to be able to look for these bits of magic wherever I go, no matter my preconceptions.

Damon, this video really spoke to me. I'm from a tiny (very conservative) town in Illinois and I've been living abroad for the last 3 years. My attitude towards my hometown has been so prickly and what you said about judging your home more harshly than you do other places you've visited resonates so much with my experience. Thank you for making this video. I feel much more aware of my own "small town" baggage and I hope to be able to make peace with it. TY TY TY
