Millennials, go back and watch ALL of Michael Jordan games from debut till the last Championship which was approximately 12 years. It's not just the six championships rings It's not just the numerous awards he has over lebron. It's not just the charisma Or the natural skill he has of the game Or the per game points stats MJ literally changed the way basketball is played around the world today. Even kim Jong Un loves the sport. And MJ was the catalyst for this popularity. A GOAT shouldn't just be about the BEST player of all time, it's also about their legacy, how their remembered and what they did outside the game, and how they changed the game itself. That's to me what makes a GOAT, that's why MJ is the GOAT. Black Jesus.

Its actually quite simple. Which player looks more brilliant, more graceful, more effortless, more skillful, and more gifted? So if Jordan is more beautiful to watch; which he is by far, and has amassed far more career achievements and awards than Lebron, (Rings, Season MVP's, Finals MVP's, Scoring titles) what is that telling us? Jordan had done all this in 15 seasons, while Lebron has played 17 seasons, and has far less achievements. Case closed.

@Aaron Dill james has already declined below jordans level. He was 3rd team all-nba last year. The only time jordan was not 1st team all-nba on the bulls was his first two seasons. Jordans age 34 and age 35 seasons are better than lebron. And the man didn't miss one game during his first comeback. Model of durability. Personally would rather have jordan 21-40 than james 18-50. Btw he isn't playing until he is 50. He is playing until he has a comfortable lead on Kareem's pt record and /or until his son joins the league. And that's if a team is willing to pay the salary he will want.

"How can you be the best scorer and the best defender" It takes an incredible amount of energy to be that player for 82 games. So much so that in the history of the NBA only 3 players have ever been the scoring champion and 1st team All Defense in the same year. Those three players are Kobe, West & Jordan. Kobe and West did it a combined 3 times. Jordan did it 9 times. That could be MJ's most underrated achievement.

I have seen both of their entire careers and I really can’t explain how good Michael was and much better MJ was than Lebron. It’s not even close. I really feel sorry for the people who never got to see him play live. He had jaw dropping highlights every night and had so much drive and heart. I have never seen any athlete, much less a basketball player, that compares to him. MJ will always be the goat. He didn’t just inspire people to be better at basketball, you wanted to do everything and anything you did better. That’s how much he transcended the game.

meech RYLES he couldn’t handle not being THE guy. They should’ve won it in 2011, Wade completely dominated that series, but Lebron couldn’t handle that and literally fucked it up all by his lonesome. Forcing shit up left n right. Everybody saw the real Lebron James that year. You can’t be “the best” when you’re not even the best player on your own team... The next year, Wade decided to be the bigger man and take a step back to let Lebron have his way. Which was blatantly stupid, but he hit 30 years old and had a bad knee so it made sense. But everybody saw who the real number 1 was behind the scenes the year before. When it counted, the ball went to Wade, not Lebron. All that dude does is ring chase. They start to build a team around him then he fucks em and ups and leaves em when they lose one series lmao like dude you got TO the finals that’s an accomplishment in itself. The dudes a complete joke. He cannot compare to 6 for 6. Ever..... And this dude actually, literally said, “I mean too much to society to just shut up and dribble” 😆😆😆 stfu you narcissistic bastard.

Daz Davis wow everything you said was wrong. In 2011 he chocked it was obvious the moment was too big for him and he shocked. The next year Wade basically told him for them to win they need him to be dominant. Y’all do remember that Jordan did play for another team? Y’all do remember that Kobe threatened to leave the Lakers if they didn’t get him any help and that’s when they traded for Gosal. Jordan stayed with the bulls for most of his career because he didn’t NEED to leave. They didn’t have no problem getting free agents and they had a smart gm(even tho they hated him). Even when they were going to get rid of Scottie they were going to trade him for TMac...that’s right TMac!!! The Cavs still haven’t been able to put together a decent squad and the Lakers hadn’t made the finals since Kobe was in his prime.

Not only does his work speak for itself but outside of that, he was the one who made it possible for great players after him to get these enormous endorsements and contracts. He's the one who births the AI,s, T-Macs, Kobe, etc. We honestly wouldn't be talking about most if any of these great players that came after him, had he not shouldered that load. It says alot to be able to stay where you're at and KNOW you have the ability to dominate, then to pick your own road (such as teamates, coaches ect) and complain whenever things don't go your way. Lebron throughout his career had the Eastern conference on lock...... Jordan had the LEAGUE on lockdown. Nuff said, never a fan but nothing but respect for his Airness

Was Pippen the top ten player at the time? When Lebron won his first two NBA title, was Wade a top 5 player in the NBA? Was Chris Bosh a top 10 player in the NBA? What about Ray Allen? Did Pippen win a Chip without MJ? Did Wade win two Chips without Lebron? In Cleveland with Kyrie and Love. Wasn't Kyrie a Top 10 player at the time? Was Love a Top 20-30 player in the NBA? Then this year, isn't AD at the very least a top 5 player in the NBA? As a matter of fact, this year AD is a better player on the Lakers team. Lebron is a straw that stir the drink or a cog that makes the machine running. He is the most valuable Lakers but not the best Lakers player. So where is the idea that Lebron won Chips without anyone helping him? I get it. You need something to talk about. You need to be able to fill a 3 hours show, 5 days a week, 45 weeks a year. And topics comparing players always draw more interests and thus viewership. But this is still too ridiculous. Jordan led the Bulls team with a Rodman that was over the hill, a Pippen who was injured and a shell of himself to a Championship is much more impressive than this Chip by Lebron. At the very least Lebron has a fully healthy AD at peak form. Jordan had no one when he won his last championship because Rodman was on his way out. Pippen was too hurt to be of much used. Not to mention this Lakers team lost two games in the final to a Heat team without a superstar. They have an all star in Butler and that is it. It should have been a sweep yet they lost two games.
