The water tankers cannot fly in 100 mile an hour winds.

Celebrities never follow water restrictions which doesn’t help either with lush gardens. Is that why firefighters didn’t have enough water?
@saludosalsol11 сағат бұрын
Having lush vegetation that holds water is a good thing, it evaporates into the air and creates more rain. If we all only had desert plants we would dry out the soil and air even more.

No. The incredible simultaneous demand for water was the culprit. Drat.

Where's the water?? Serious question. I thought water for fire hydrants was mandatory
@lumberjackdreamer626710 сағат бұрын
They have millions of gallons of water dedicated for fire hydrants. Unfortunately depleted because there are 5 fires burning at the same time. Climate change.
@eh347710 сағат бұрын
It's a local infrastructure issue. She discussed it here - they have a million gallon tank for firefighting, it ran dry and takes time to fill up.

I feel so bad for all of those residents who have lost homes ...And yet their mayor cut the fire department budget and seem to have had opportunities to prepare with water and chose the route of "fighting global warming" instead
@bobbyg771912 сағат бұрын
Imagine being a fire fighter. That subsequently needs water to extinguish a fire? Now imagine being a fire fighter that has no water pressure. Everyone needs to ask Gavin Newsom about water. Because Gavin is an expert on water and smelt fish. 🤷

NO fire hydrant system is designed to run continuously for 10-12 hours or more at a time. Try learning a little about how the systems work before you start slinging uncalled-for blame on people or things that have nothing to do with it, or about things you know so little about.

@@WarHawk- Ditto, its sad to see so many mean trolls piling on just because Trump said it is so. Obviously, both he and the mean people posting this disinformation don't understand how municipal water networks function and what their demand limits are in any state or country.
@ambermyers746310 сағат бұрын
I already tried asking when they decided to build thousands of new homes in my county. I asked how this works since we are always in a drought. City Council said Newsom’s orders and if we don’t follow the state will cut our funding. That’s how Newsom runs things around here.
