You should have enough wire left over wire to wire a 40 ft 2 car trailer! But like me you have to store cars on the trailer so you have room to park it. Then unload to use the trailer. Typical gear head problems. It usually takes me two days to wire a pickup truck. I use an old car horn to do brake lights its pre wired with alligator clips. Love your videos and the cars you do.

With your friendship developing with Speedway Motors, you should really try their universal wiring kit! It’s significantly less expensive than other brands and way easy to use. I just did it to wire my ‘71 Cutlass. All the wires are labeled and there is some consistency with them.

I know you wired a ton of cars but you make it look so easy I'm getting ready to call delta pag I have all my fan and radiator measurements to give them for a quote on the 2 12 inch fan set up I don't know about the wiring with that controller so I'll see what they tell me. Great video dan

The '66 Nova dimmer switch burst in2 flame on a moonless midnite in the middle of "NOWHERE Ontario! I lost my lowbeams AND, it set the "sound deadener mat on fire, under my floor mat! SO, I put out the smouldering under mat and had 2 switch off my headlights and use the lights from the oncoming car until it was JUST past me! lol

For a hot rod, with no accessories, I like the idea of using a toggle switch to send power to the coil, and a pushbutton to activate the starter relay. Two of my cars are done that way. One of them has a row of 7 toggle switches and 2 momentary pushbuttons, all labeled. If you have an electric fuel pump, you need another toggle switch. Makes it more fun to start, for me anyway.

Those cheapy headlight switches are garbage. They corrode inside, I don't usually drive my truck at night but when I did the headlights did not come on. Had to pull the switch in and out about 20 times to get it to work, replaced it with the same one did the same thing, took it apart and cleaned it, worked until the next time it didn't work at all. Had to drive home with no headlights at all. So, I put a toggle switch in. Have had no problems since.

I would sure like it if cars here in the state of Washington where I live had at least minimal vehicle inspection like you have, especially for older cars and trucks. In the US vehicle inspection varies state by state. The result is a lot of vehicles that are basically rolling death traps especially in areas of the country where the roads are salted every year. The number of totally rusted out cars I see on You Tube channels like "Just Rolled In" and "Mechanical Nightmares" just makes me shudder.

Here's my suggestion, Dump the Cobra, Model A, Kit car, and Opel (all too small for you) Keep the Camaro ( fun to drive 4speed and fast), Dump the red 57 with wacked off roof, dump the 47 you'll never drive, and the 56 green Nomad (too nice for you) meaning you'll never wash it. Then you will have money, shop for 61,62,63 Impala. Just my opinion.
