Pro tip! The carabiner is super handy for tying your boat up but never use it if there’s a chance it’ll rotate. Almost lost an anchor when the wind switched, the boat spun, and the gate on the carabiner was pressed open by the eyelet it was clipped into. The carabiner sank but we were able to snag the floating line to retrieve the anchor.

Noice! Only get a few of those days in a year at least for me. Just love the sound of the snap of the rod and the drag of the reel as you set the hook. Like hitting a golf ball in the sweet spot! 😎
