What y talking about? The other Gollum is decent card advantage for the mana value. And the first Gollum we saw is good for getting tempted and has a really good synergy with semagol. And in a nazgul deck for ex gollum can make your board rly strong since you can sacrifice and play him multiple times a turn for the tempted trigger

Mitch you forgot to include *Sorin's Vengeance!* 7 mana (4 + 3 Black), Deal 10, Gain 10, then Gollum deals another 10, INSANE. I picked it up for my Hidetsugu and Kairi Commander Deck recently for cents on the dollar, but I think this little guy could hike it's price a bit - Still budget for you right now however.

AI don't think the card works like you think it does, sounds like you may believe it will drain your opponents on life you gained their turn as well. You'll only be draining them for life you gained during your turn only, meaning any life you gained during their turn doesn't count towards damage dealt to them. Say you gained 6 life since the end of your last turn till the start of your turn, then gained 5 life on that turn, you'll only drain for that 5 life, not 11 life.

Please read the card carefully. It says "at the beginning of your end step", not "at the beginning of each end step". If you gain life during an opponent's turn, Gollum will not deal damage. So Revenge of Ravens does not work with Gollum, and several others work worse than you imagine in this video.

​​@@DanielCassell-e1r not in this case. The name in Gollum's text box isn't referencing the object it itself is, so that name wouldn't change if you mutate on top of it. It's referencing anything with the *name* Gollem OS. So if you mutated on top of Gollum, and then that mutated creature dealt damage to Player A, even that creature wouldn't see that Player A was dealt damaged by a creature named Gollum. To answer OP's question, since if you mutated on top of Gollum it wouldn't notice anything, for sure if that creature gets destroyed and you recast Gollum it wouldn't recognize that the mutated creature with a different name had dealt damage to Player A

Gollum must be in the field on your end step so the text is "on the field" to trigger. Gollum can die and be bought back without resetting the "tag" tho which is powerful

Yes if two people have gollum, it will trigger on anyone who has been hit by a gollum. It doesn't have the "gollum owned by you" clause. This with exquisite blood and sanguine bond omfg

​@@Zephyrt3mp3st so was I. If you have both exquisite blood and sanguine bond on the battlefield, all you need to do to win is gain one life or deal one damage. You don't need Gollum to deal more damage on your end step, because you've already won at that point. You won't get to your endstep

Judge here: the ability doesn’t care which creature an opponent has taken damage from, as long as it’s name was gollum, obsessive stalker. So lazav and other clones will work. It’s worded differently than most other self-referencing cards. I assume this is because if it only referred to itself, then removing it from play would cause you to have to hit them again

You don't need to. It doesn't say "dealt damage by Gollum", it says "dealt damage by a creature named Gollum", which makes all the difference
