Kittens usually knead their mothers bellies as they nurse, its a very natural response to nursing. So its really great that she puts her finger there for Pepita to hold, she doesn't miss out on that behavior

I wanna thank you for this video because both of my cats were adopted when they were 6 months or older. They're not from the same litter, one is older by 6 months but they look JUST like these two kittens in this video and I felt like this helped me picture them as the tiny fluffballs they started life as. I've been addicted to this channel for about a month now. A couple weeks ago my son, 21, almost broke up with his girlfriend of 2.5 years and was really sad and upset...I just put this channel on and by the end of the first video he was laughing. He is a huge, huge animal lover but has the softest spot for kittens/cats. We have a little 2.5 year old cat called Orville, we adopted him (he actually adopted us) when he was just that day turning 8 weeks old...he was so tiny and adorable and ever since my son is a lover of all things kitten! In about 5-6 years we'll be moving from Chicago area to the East Coast where, when we get a house, will seriously consider learning how to foster these tiny little babies! We've both learned so much from your videos and feel there's just no way we can't do this in the future! Thank you for the knowledge and for doing what you do!

Sometimes older. She's all dried up though which is the funny part because she still tries to nurse anyways. 💀

Classic momma cat. My grandma loves to talk about her old girl Seven, who was named that because she adopted four orphan kittens in addition to the three she already had, and that was her seventh (and LAST) litter. Her previous owners refused to spay her, and eventually moved away, so grandma was more than happy to take her in. After the kittens were grown and adopted out, Seven started trying to mother the other adult cats! Honestly, so cute.

My cat I was talking about actually had 3-4 litters before I was able to stop the process since it's more expensive to abort the babies and get her fixed, I just let her have them because she kept getting pregnant!! There's no programs near me to make it cheaper either so it would've costed around $300 or more. She hasn't had kittens since 2018 and absolutely misses it though.

Love your videos!! I just recently rescued a three week old out of an abandoned truck. Someone literally left him there with hard dog food and had one eye swollen and was closed shut and a bald spot on his head. OMG, I thought I had never had one this young before. "SO RELAXING" ... My 9 year old cat disagrees. I was watching this while we cuddled, and she ran away after she'd heard enough of the kittens. But it does make me miss the early days we spent caring for my boyfriend's neonatal rescue kitten. Nothing quite like watching the babies eagerly drink a bottle and then waddle around with happy, full tummies. It was so funny to watch him go from: "small" - (), to "still small, but also round" - ( ).

I love it. From bottle feeding the kittens to teaching kittens how to cat. Looks so rewarding. I wish I could drive (I can’t yet. I should have had lessons years ago but things happened) so I could help a local shelter. It’s not local enough to ride a bicycle to. My 18 y/o cat now requires burping after she drinks water. If we fail to burp her, she vomits up what she drank.

@@SweetUniverse Yes. She is still quite active, but her digestive system apparently can no longer release the air she swallows without the water coming up. Like a baby, the bubble underneath brings up the liquid. I just raise my cat up to my shoulder like I would a human infant and gently pat her side and she burps so cute! Then she is ready to get down and sleep or drink more. Funny how cat/kitten burps are so cute but human ones - not so much!

The other day I'm at a dollar tree and I hear what sounds like a kitten crying. So my brain is like "where's the kitten? Where is the kitten?" Then I see this little boy blowing a whistle. I thought a whistle was a kitten. It gave me so much stress. I need help. All I think about is kittens.

Same!! I rescue cats on a regular basis since my mom and I moved from my grandma's house around 2008, I've taken care of easily over a 100 cats and kittens by now. And hearing a cat in distress makes me go full mama mode lol
