As a French, supporting my team in the last months (years ???) has been like rooting for Satanas in Wacky Races: you know that, at some point, they'll do something mind-bogglingly stupid that will cost them the game, but the bastards still manage to give you some hope that this time will be the right one. Apart from that, thanks for the great work on the video: both hilarious and very insightful as always!

So glad someone pointed out that Parkes's kick was a superb bit of play. All the commentators and analysts were all hung up on the word 'howler' without realising that even if Huget hadn't spilled it Wales would have had an attacking 5m scrum and probably would have scored anyway.

I bet £50 on France to be winning at halftime, then Wales to win the match. Fair to say I was bricking it at half time but I knew Wales had it in them. They've shown resolve against Ireland and England in the last 2-3 Six Nations, after being multiple scores down. Maybe that's just how they play their best rugby?

When I used to live in Parma I would go every week-end to the game to see Zebre losing and as a french rugby lover I was really excited when Toulouse had to come to play for the European Cup. It was a really small and homey pitch and seeing my favourite players on the grass I would train on was a dream. A dream until, hours after the game, the 14 years old me catches Yoann and Maxime Médard smoking ciggies just behind the changing-room... It broke my heart and my knee ligaments months later!

Love your analysis, hit the subscribe bell in a heartbeat. Even at 16-0 I still had hope. That disallowed Williams try in the first half showed how dodgy the French defence was, two glaring missed tackles on him. Seven points lost there plus two missed kickable pens, halftime could have been 16-13 and the final score 19-37.

I thinks it’s a little silly that nobody seems to take into account that the mistakes France made were also due to the increased pressure by Wales. I’m not saying that’s the only reason for the mistakes but it did play it’s part and Wales were right there to take advantage of them means that the pressure was very real. You can make your own luck as well as being gifted with it.

The French . They play Rugby the way they live … with passion . You just dont know what they are going to bring to a game .They can be down by 14 points with 8 minutes to go and then out a nowhere they claw themselves back to win . Just look at what they've done to the mighty All Blacks over the decades and then there is those epic battles they always seem to have with Australia which I think is just a hate match from hell . Then there is those France vs England games which I personally love watching . They may have there ups and downs the old French but they are still one of the great Rugby nations . They still command the respect of their opponents . If you underestimate them , its at your peril .
