@@the_real_fiz2zy I think because it's a more calm hobbyist thing. No need to be extreme and crackdown on rulebreakers in a subreddit filled with nothing but pictures of jeeps. People go there to have a good time and look at jeeps so the people in the subreddit do just that.

I've learned this the hard way. Not every Subreddit is like this, but way too many are. It's such a shame. Most fandoms don't have their own forums, so Reddit's the only place I can discuss my favourite series with fellow fans.

Every time I try to post anywhere it either gets removed or I get verbally abused for no reason at all, I’ve just given up on trying to post anything. On the Pokemon reddit I tried to point out a similarity between segments in a piece of music from gen 4 and a piece from gen 8 and got downvoted but I don’t know why, I was just sharing something cool I noticed.

I left reddit after a mod acted all cocky on me after removing my post on r/unpoular opinion. I read every goddamn rule that the subreddit had and everything was ok with my post I tried to explain it to him respectfully from start to finish and he didn't even cared about it, it kinda felt like I was talking with a child. And I felt like shit and realized it was actually every time I was on reddit that I felt like shit so I left. I'm happy and spending my time learning guitar instead of arguing with manchilds. (And the quality of the memes that I've seen there was trash)

i stopped using reddit because of the reputation it has, the people on there just being pretty cringey and annoying, the bots taking down literally most of my posts for no reason. The only reason why i used to use it in the first place was because of a nostalgic British TV show that's pretty obscure and the only other community i could find for it was facebook, and i'd rather use reddit than facebook (Both awful social medias anyway but & the show was Primeval btw)
