Some breeders do keep them in doubles, and have done so fairly successfully. I recommend keeping them alone. This is mainly because hatchlings are skittish, they have the tendencies to strike at another's tail, or mistaken other gecko's movement as food. Keeping them solo will reduce chances at tail nips, missing toes, missing tails, and other injuries.

Is it better to limit the occupancy of each bin to one hatchling? Is it safe to "double up" the hatchlings?

dont you need to provide some sort of heating like a lamp for the hatchilings?
@OnlineGeckos10 жыл бұрын
They all have under tank heating. For the rack system setup with the bins, they have flexwatt belly heating. Belly heating is definitely essential for leopard geckos as they rely on belly heating for proper digestion.
