A huge thing that I would want to see is what it looks like to make a sponsorship proposal deck in a drifting atmosphere, I literally just purchased creative cloud to commit to learning how to make my sponsorship deck and learn how to promote myself. Was sitting down to learn as I saw this video pop up in my feed. I want to represent myself well and struggle to know where to start. I know my driving can speak for itself but like everyone says, no one cares about the driving if you aren't marketable. I'm very new to the world of sponsors and just want to make sure I do it right. This video is a gift to the competitive drifting industry so thank you!!

Great video! 💯 I totally agree-it's not just the drifting or the content itself that sells, it's you as a person. Viewers connect with authenticity and personality, which is why talking videos get such great engagement. It’s all about building that personal connection and showing people who you really are. Thanks for sharing this insight!

Would LOVE to know more about grip suspension set up w your products... So far the only helpful run downs I have found are from Motoiq /Mike Kojima.. Having a car full of fdf gear, I'd love to know that I have adjusted my car in the best manner.. Knowing what each of the adjustments does to dial in the feel and control of the car... Great video btw 👌

What I would love to learn next: I can’t stop thinking about caster… As someone with a fully open-diff Subaru rally car, it seems as though dialling in more caster could go a long way towards more front end grip. But I’m sure I’m missing some valuable info. Thanks for these vids!

Love represents your stuff, and this was a clear and concise video. Straight to the point, no fluff. Basic videos and content do well. Just gotta be consistent. Lastly, that trailer was amazing to see in person on Driftweek. Building of spare vette parts was brilliant. Keep it up!!!!

There is NO information out there on this!! I genuinely want someone to explain how shock settings affect how a car transitions/rotates. I understand that there are other big factors such as weight placement, weight distribution, alignments, and other things that probably play a way bigger role on rotation characteristics but I want to get educated about the shocks itself. I'm thinking it could be a useful tool to setup how the car rakes to angle during aggressive initiations or transitions. Please do a video on this! I've spent hrs trying to figure this out on my own car and on the sim but can't come up with a clear answer.

id like to see your thoughts n ideas on the effects of ball joint placement n what effects it has, for context from above looking down on the spindle an the spindle was completely centered on the ball joint an what it does compared to normally arching around the ball joint, wouldnt it no longer arch but instead pivet in place? if more context is needed then think of removing the L shape from the spindles ball joint mounting location so the wheel bearing assembly (like a C6) would be more directly over the ball joint n not off set like in most factor setups because of the top n bottom ears the ball joint bolts to wouldnt be used n the wheel would no longer swing but rotate in place? i dont think wa i just explained made any sense

I'm currently working as a mechanic and in the future want to work in a raceshop, so although I have a general knowledge of this stuff I want to learn more about how side bite/forward bite, trackwidth and toe work, along with how each component works and affects a race/drift car and how each adjustment affects them. I'm just about to start binge-watching all of your more informative videos to try to learn more about this stuff and hopefully improve those aspects on my drift car

0:44 I have a few questions. All in relation to a drift car. 1. Which is more beneficial in drifting, squat or anti-squat ? 2. (roll axis inclination) roll centers (R.C.) are at different heights, which is more beneficial for drifting?--> high R.C in rear, low R.C. In front, or low R.C. In rear high R.C. In front? 3.how are motion ratios and leverage ratios related to each other? And how can they be calculated?

I currently drive a 2005 Mustang GT (S197) and want to be able to more easily explain how anti squat works on the 3 link solid axle style rear suspension. The idea of my lower control arm relocation brackets I currently understand pretty well but also the ability to understand better and explain how adjustable control arms can dictate pinion angle and leverage on the suspension would be awesome to see in a display setting.
@SamCaldwell-fb1gn11 минут бұрын
Think it would be possible to do a display with sway bars. That is probably one of the more simple ones, but hardly touched on and would be a cool display. I know there was a half one with the full scale display but it would be cool seeing a handheld diagram with the pickup points like the last 2 you did. Maybe get some rc car shocks and springs and then have little bars of different thickness of the same metal with adjustable pick up points along the bar.

I would like to quick go to solutions to common suspension problems for grip and drift cars. IE- 3 ways to tackle common issues we see on the track or drift event with suspension. May be a good opportunity to refer to dfd products as well. Could be a "best practices" segment. Im sure it would help lots of people going into next year.
@M.asa.Күн бұрын
So i think you already covered everything there is to know with suspension throughout these years. One thing i haven't seen is how beneficial decoupling the suspension is in a drift car. I dont think this is possible with the regulations, but something i do like to see happen. like in a formula car or prototype. I know this is very specific, but I've seen people experimenting with it in the rc drifting community, and i am currently also experimenting with it.

A overview of how the different spring rates vs damping settings and how they affect response, do I need a stiffer spring or just more damping. How to setup for better self steering, every adjustment I make seems to make it more touchy and have less self steering.

Nerding out about suspension is one of my favorite things about drifting. I've been driving an s chassis for a few years with several different iterations of cut knuckles, adapters, car height, tire compounds and alignments. I would really like to learn the benefits of a more engineered steering setup vs limitations of modified stock parts at a grassroots level, and how one or the other benefits non competition vehicle setup. Thanks!

One thing I still don't fully understand about suspension is the effects of caster angle. If you can figure out a way to present this, I think it would be pretty cool. A display for anti-roll bars would also be pretty neat, like the motion ratio of it, or the effect of different stiffnesses.
