Yes, absolutely! If you are making cold process we do recommend using the lye calculator with your adjusted recipe to make sure the amounts are accurate but melt and pour, lotions, bath bombs etc, can just be cut in half.

If I made the soap with olive oil and coconut oil after it cures 4 to 6 weeks how long is the soap good for? Up to a year or longer?

We recommend using your cold process soap within a year of making it, but you can use it longer as long as you still enjoy the smell. Your fragrance may begin to fade from the bars after that first year.
