This was another interesting flight. It's icredible how rocky certain sections are on this line. I assume the huge boulders can cause problems after a big storm. The rolling hills are fantastic on both sides. The spring colors are indeed lovely, everything is fresh and healthy. Amazing footage again Dan. You really feel these low flights.

This was a fantastic ride down the Howards Gulch portion of the Union Pacific Railroad's (former Southern Pacific) Modoc Line in Northern California, Dan! I enjoyed the crew's eye view of the line. The scenery is not spectacular in this area. It did provide a variety of differing vistas as we moved through the area. (Posted 17 July 2024 at 1830 CDT.)

Will you be doing an episode on the old branch line from weed up to Ashland? I know it’s not main line but last I checked it was still used to move freight up to Southern Oregon.
@TheRailfanDan6 ай бұрын
I have actually covered all of that and some of it more than once! If you search Siskiyou Line on my channel you should find them easy enough. I know I've done one on the Weed to Hornbrook train and back and a couple on the Medford to Hornbrook and back. Mind you it was before I started voice over narration.

@@TheRailfanDan that’s great! Thanks for the info. I will search them out. I’ve spent a lot of time along that line but it’s rare to catch trains since they’re more infrequent. I appreciate your work. Thanks, again.
