When i got sober 7 years ago, other than the terrible withdrawal (while in jail), the hardest part was making amends. Some didnt forgive me till WAY later. Some did right away. But every single fucking time someone looked in my eyes after i hurt them and said "i forgive you. It's okay now, I love you", it broke me to tears.

sooo this is the episode that’s very triggering for me, that maddy & nate scene🙃 i remember watching it for the first time and literally crying and shaking because it was just so real and something i went through. but i still enjoy this episode because at the end of the day this show is truly all one big art piece in a way…it’s so deep and real and it shows the ugly side of reality

Something that I think made me understand Cassie more is people saying the character has BPD. I don't know if she's intentionally written that way but I have some people in my life with BPD and her behaviour definitely feels similar to there's at times that they haven't been doing so well. I'm not saying that it excuses her behaviour or makes it okay but it definitely made me understand more.

As someone diagnosed with bpd YES TO THIS!!! she’s definitely a representation of how bpd can make a person handle life and distress, I see myself in her a lot especially how I used to act when I wasn’t aware of my bpd and it’s symptoms….

I can somewhat feel your pain. I lost my mom 6 years ago, I was 14. She was an addict, it’s hard sometimes to mourn my mom yet the addict she was? I don’t know. I just miss her and what could’ve been. She finally got clean towards the end, I thought I finally had my mom back. Maybe in another life. Thinking of you. ♥️
