Hey Tom. My name is Adam, I’ve been dealing with social anxiety my whole life. I’ve dealt with overwhelming shame and felt like I never belong. Your music is helping me find my voice and embrace who I am instead of running from him. This song is my anthem, I’ve cried to it multiple times because it gives me power that I haven’t had on my own and your bravery opening up about your issues is helping me do the same. This is allowing me to own who I am and release all the bullshit shame I’ve been dealing with. Love you brother keep doing what you’re doing you’re helping people for sure!

Adam, there certainly is something truly amazing that takes place , when you hear music that comes from truth . Your inner knowing resonates so profoundly , it just sneaks up on you , and you realise that you have introduce yourself to Man who you now are . The letting go of all those things from the Man you thought you were , easily occurs when you are the Man you are today. To be in the present is never achieved by some . It takes bravery to release. To be or not to be that is the Question. I figured out To be is the answer, just like you have my friend.

I've always been into metal, blues & a little country, but Tom & Nova produce some of the realist, well spoken & straight forward points I've ever heard. Drugs, Political, Preferences, all the tough shit to throw on the table. And the words are FAIR, unlike the media. He doesn't intend to piss off anyone, but doesn't care if he does. That's truth. Balanced truth. They could be doing opera or bluegrass, it wouldn't matter. Their msg would still scream out loud. Thank you for what you do. We ALL (yes I said ALL in 2022) need the words you say. Drinking cost me a 17 year relationship, my dignity, pride, self respect and almost my life. 1 year and 159 days later and I'm still counting days... but I'm also still breathing. Instead of counting Tallboys I'm counting reps in the gym. Instead of running from my problems I'm running miles. I don't have millions of dollars. Hell, I don't even have that many friends. But, for the first time in almost 2 decades I'm proud of who I am and where I'm headed. At 40 years old you could say half my life is behind me. I say the better half lies ahead.

This was the first song of Toms that I ever listened to. My dad sent it to me back in April of 2020 after he got out of jail . He relapsed with alcohol not long after . 2 years later he took his life . The time that he was sober he was SO PROUD of himself and of course as his daughter I was too but that’s the thing with addiction it sneaks back up on you at any time . Lost my stepmom to her alcohol addiction in 2019 . Even though I’ve never struggled myself I’ve seen what addiction does to people and it is not pretty . My point is if you’re struggling hopefully you get the help you need before it’s too late because NOBODY should have bury their parents, friends, children because of addiction yet it is all too common

Jorden Berger I guess I’m the troll then if I’m just being honest I thought this song was awful I mean I like toms messaging but the reason for all the positive comments on KZbin is because people know who tom is but in reality no one cares for him or his music besides his fan base so the only ones clicking on his videos really are his fans, this is their little “safe space” in a way not a lot of haters just toms fans enjoying his music together.
