Safe to say that most people would agree that the X Speedportal was not Adidas' best effort in the "speed" boot category, especially knowing how good the F50 adizero series once was! This of course begs the question, why don't they just go back to what they were doing before? Well, that's pretty much exactly what they've done!
In today's video we take a closer look at the new Adidas X CrazyFast+, the brand's latest "speed" boot offering, which in more ways than one, draws some huge similarities to past F50 adizero models! We discuss how they differ from the Speedportal they replace, why they're more like some of the best F50 adizeros, and how they stack up against other competition in the "speed" category. As much as I do like what one piece upper boots can provide but this is honestly refreshing to see a good old standalone tongue back on a pair of speed boots again.

What can a one piece upper provide? I absolutely hate it. Its tight in places I don't want it to be. It's terrible to put on and take off. Seriously, I'm curious what you like about it being a one piece.

The F50'S Adizero Ghosted Legend Pack my Son still brings out the bag, Carbetex soleplate, you not getting that here but glad Adidas have upped their game from the Speed portal. Just the $300 price tag but limited-edition an look a good speed boot ⚽️

I have flat feet little to no arch and I had the same problem of the bulges on the side of the ankle on both of the adizero f50 remakes. I think I’ll have the same problem with these but still want to try them out.

So we will have these ones, and also a standard non plus varient which is going to have a completely different upper that is slightly more similar to the speddportal although more pliable. And there will be a lawless varient however it will be identical to the .1 varient and it will be called LL (laceless). And then the top end will be the plus version which is the ultra light boot

All of the leaked pictures of the “Crazyfast” have a one piece construction instead of the separate tongue like these “Crazylight”. I hope that the the leaked pictures were preproduction and that all of the standard Crazyfast color ways will have the separate tongue . That looks WAY better.

Just got them feels like the 2014 adizero is really barefoot feeling like REALLY the heel is nice I thought they’d rip if I got stepped on surprisingly didn’t happen if they had the carbitex tooling it’d be the best speed boot ever beating the speedflow imo surprisingly comfy too

Ok. I've been raving and longing for the return of the legendary f50 adizero. I was the biggest fanboy when this crazy plus was announced because of it's comparisons to the adizero. Let me say it emphatically... This is not that shoe. The creases and wrinkly upper is more like fabric and gives a weird ball feel. If u like the barefoot feel, it's next level, but u cannot compare it to adizero. Haven't yet tried the .1 version tho.
