The indigo movement ... Timeline 1859 to 1860 Location Bengal .. It against the indigo growing . It against that the indigo peasent growing given very low rates for indigo produces . It outcomes that one govt commision set up for this purpose . Indigo plantation movement happens in Bengal . It influences the champaran movement of Gandhi .

Main grievances of peasents and tribals .. Due to policies of britishers permanent settlement , ryotwari system lot of problem come across that which means like high burden of taxes there and due to which they take loan from the sahukars , money lenders etc to give their taxes . Even Britishers buy their production at very less prices and during the time of famines or shortage of food in the market selling that production to even farmers or peasent buy this at very high prices . And when industrial revolution come Britishers come up with their product in market and import to India at very low prices means without taxes due to which Indian native artisians suffers a lot from this like there product loss their significance and industrial production capture the market due to their cheap roce and production through machines and exploitation of Britishers , zamindars , merchant , moneylenders and sahikars and tribal people displaced due to building of industriates and mining activities and losses their culture etc .

Common features of these movement .. Most of these movement against the revenue or forest officiaks ,landed class traders and merchabts etc . Sometimes these takes foem of the caste religion etc . Kheda ..no land tax .bevause crop failure happens in gujrat Gandhi along with ths sardar vallah bhai patek supported the peasent . Bardi satyagraha ..fir tje decrement of tax .and reduce of tax on land happens .

Tebhaga movement against the zamindars who want half of the land tax from their produce so bargadars against that and refused to pay half because they do everything and given of the share to them and uses their resource mit happens in 1946 and 47 .

1946 to 52 .. telangana movement against the high taxes taken from these peasent and also other things like moneylender exploitation that why they form. Committee and fight against that called guerrilla warfare but it sufressed by the razakars and other thing like it leads to the killing of many peasent does not make much impact .
