Ya that does suck that they don't put a little more time into melee hunter. For me, I don't think that I would like it but I like the idea of melee weaving just to change things up. Also, keep your chin up. I know it freaking sucks putting all that time into editing your video only have have blizzard change things but we really really appreciate what you are doing. Keep up the great videos. I can't wait to see what lvl 40 brings.

Venomstrike with Fang 2 piece hits pretty hard. Constantly ripping threat from pet when it procs, but haven’t had the chance to test if the 2 piece boost the damage but I believe it does.

the bow is kinda fun because of the procc.. but it`s also kinda useless with all the other higher dps ranged weapons. the proc on average doesn`t deal enough damage.

The BFD dungeon was replaced with the raid. That ring comes from the dungeon so it's currently unobtainable.

Scorpid is still the best if you are the only one using it. Rest is very close to each others if you wanna go cat or wind serpent etc.

The gear in this BFD raid is insane... if it keeps going like this max lvl raids will definetely need a top of buffs, otherwise we'll be able to clear naxx as soon as we reach 60. I mean look at the trinkets... lvl 25 trinkets are very close to what we had as pre bis trinkets

also assuming the next "phase" is level 40 with Gnomeregan and some other raid. This gear will be pretty crazy and make it a steamroll.

@@Dwesk for sure. I assume they have stuff planned for lvl 60 like Kara and im sure they'll take the gear inflation into consideration. I mean even with the regular classic gear, all classes are already way more powerfull than they originally were so the raids would be a steam roll regardless

@@floreaciprian9742 yeah the runes did simplify things by quite a bit, and I assume when next phase comes out if they add another batch of runes (like 6-10 more for each class) then there will once again be potentially new OP combinations, and some runes that are underused ATM will skyrocket with some broken synergy.

The thing I don't understand about the nerfs is this: Hunter is one of the best damage dealers in this stage of the game right? Why nerf them now when they will probably have to buff our runes exponentially in order for hunters to be on par when the next phase comes out anyway. Hunters dont scale well into the latter half of classic. They should just expect some classes at certain stages to do better than others and not get too tune happy with the mechanics. As a hunter player I can't even keep up with the changes happening to this class to know where we stand lol. They also gave us the worst of the "meme runes" with melee being the worst choice you could make as a hunter.

There's only 1 difficult pull really with 3 elites and 2-3 non elite snakes. I speccd/runed for BM and used a wind serpent to get through it.

Nah. The dps on bael modan is super high. The only way xbow is better is if youre clipping aimed shots super hard or possibly extremely high movement fights.

Hol'up. Guys asking for a flanking strike buff making it easier to get 3 stacks? I rather have it hit harder than trying to fish stacks.. Its literally a wet noodle (despite) tooltip saying 100% weapon damage, yet its doing 1/3 of a white swing lol. On top of that: Pet doesnt always hit with flanking strike either, and oh. Chimera shot is also bugged, since it doesnt add damage from viper sting, it only refreshes it.

Pretty good for a pre raid bow. Wasnt too hard to complete the dangerous quest with a buddy. The named guy in the town hall will be tricky to do solo. Good Luck.

We got the most boring build possible as usable to keep up with the dps... and frankly to do content. You can use the other runes but you feel... like its not enough, barely any sinergy in meele combat either. And in group content, well, you want to use the best so its easier... man. Whats next? More nerfs? My first chara was a hunter, but as I played it became... boring. Same ol vanilla pet do the job for me. No bottom pressing. No action. Give it to blizz ngl, to not allow fun

Which pet did ya use? Any other tips? I’m new to Hunter and cleared BFD first time yesterday. My damage was ok, but my parses were 50_60 level. Scorpid pet seemed strong still. One thing I learned is I need to be using multi shot on cd even on boss fights. Anything else you can help guide me with?

@@nickv3085 Keep serpent sting up, multi-shot on CD, and don't interrupt your auto attacks. Your auto attacks take priority over all else, and you weave your abilities in between them. Other than that, not much to say or do.

Do you need carve rune for that? And is it viable without 3 seconds cd on Raptor Strike and when you can't trap in combat? Classic range hunter still seems to be the most optimal sadly cause I was hyped to try melee hunter. That's the main reason I picked hunter for SoD in the first place. Maybe melee hunter will thrive in next phase.

Overall i am confused how Blizzard decided this time to develope sod. Feels completly undiscouvered for them as well. Like a beta and untested. Did they not test at least 1 time what they are gonna Produce here? These nerfes are heavy. I saw a Video yesterday about hunters explosive shot. How damage it did before and after nerfs. U cannot tell me u oversee this when u tested this as a developer. Feels like the love is missing here and again it seems they underestitmated the community as well. So many players were and are interested In classic sod and got now some heavy boomers and nerfs and redesigns to accept. Thats not right. A game should make fun and not only money for the devs... Blizzard makes so much money and still it feels like putting not the money inside the game instead maybe in their own Pockets for endless holidays and so on. Dont know if its true but makes me sad. These blizzcons Sound often promissing but in fact are often only telling words with a smile on a face. Best time Was still for me wc3. Wc2 was ok but wc3 made the difference for me. Then came this mmorpg.... but i got so interested In the lore and Story because of wc3 that i wanted to know how it goes after that. Wished they would have done this different. But still... here i am, hoping they dont destroy this game completly, Playing the game and giving These "developers" more money over and over again. The fact you have to do gimmick stuff to get “pre bis” is so dumb. With SOD Blizzard once again had a nice idea they failed to implement. Rather than make SOD engaging and fun for players you have to resort to gimmicky grinds like solo a dungeon to get “pre bis”. What a waste of time better of playing some other game.
