Hayley likes Jackson cause he is safe but she loves Elijah This entire marriage is bullshit, all the wolves together are weaker than ELIJAH alone so i don't get what the point of this marriage was

Same, it was just the writers way of putting some dumb conflict between Hayley and Klaus

The entire Mikaelson family has ties to the witches through their heritage, but only Klaus and Hayley had ties to the werewolves - now they all do, and every faction is tied into protecting Hope. Dahlia is powerful enough that she puts Esther to shame, so they will need every kind of supernatural being in New Orleans to band together to protect Hope.

They also don't need the wolves as enemies... Marrying Jackson allows Hayley to bring an entire faction into the "not my enemies" side of the fence; the reality is that they can be a good ally and worse, a very annoying enemy if the witches or Dahlia manages to take control over them... Like Rebekah said "we need people on our side, or at the very least not siding against us"... The witches aren't ever going to be on the Mikaelson's side, but the wolves could thru Hayley It doesn't really matter how strong the Originals are, they have showed us time and time again that they need allies, or at the very least they need fewer enemies; they can't be a fully functional family, specially with Klaus' world domination plans, by killing everybody around them, making them enemies and not asking for help... because another reality is that we've been shown several times already that neither Klaus or Elijah, as impressive as they are, are invincible... And they CAN be taken down and neutralized in different ways, specially by powerful witches; so they do need back up and planning and proper strategy... YES, Elijah is stronger than any of them wolves, but he can get bitten and weakened over time; they are not going to overpower him, and Elijah could probably kill several of them before he goes down from the venom, but eventually he will go down... Not killed, but down and he can be keep down; same as Klaus with the proper spell or means Look at the example of Mikael earlier in the season when he fought the wolves in the bar; yes, he won and made pretty quick work of them, but he still had to go away, lay low and recover from the venom, so they still got some bites on him and he was out of commission for a couple of days... And that's Mikael, one of the strongest beings and certainly the most skilled fighter we've seen in the TVDU, and it was against what? 5 or 6 wolves? not an entire pack and not even the strongest or more skilled ones in their pack, they were Finn's cannon fodder
