Mark, I cannot tell you how happy I am that you brought Ozzy back!! I have been thinking about him and his situation for the past 5 years. I wish you would come back home Ozzy! There’s a lot of people that love and care about you here. I went to high school with him and he has always been such a kind, caring, creative soul. Ozzy if you are reading this: As selfless as you are (as hard as it may be) please make yourself the priority, you are so worth it! I can’t wait to read your book. We are all rooting for you from Chicago! Much love man ❤️

Definitely not in the same place he was five years ago! He's a year off benzos. That, in and of itself deserves recognition. He's lucky to be alive coming off those outside of a medically regulated regimen. He's not living on the streets. He's no longer suffering (whether he knew it or had symptoms or not) from syphilis. He's written a book. He's checking into a rehab facility. He's making healthier decisions distancing himself from his ex... The goal is progress. Not perfection. Acknowledging the efforts a person puts in to better themselves *should inspire a "better" person to be better.

Hey man! Please make it out of this! It's 24-Jan-2025, this video currently has 49 000 views, a lot of them are from people from all over the world, from places you've never heard of. I can guarantee that every single viewer wants you to make it and a lot of us would buy your book. You are so young and so smart and well-spoken. You are too good for this. Don't be so hard on yourself, it is what it is and move on. Please put yourself first, remove yourself from all difficult situations and take care, you don't owe anyone anything. You will have time to help a bunch of people when you get well. You are on the right track and I see you are capable of so much more. I wanna see your success story. Please take any help you can get ♥

Good luck buddy you’re doing ok! He's not really wrong yes he's gotten off of Xanax but when Mark said where do you wanna be in five years, five years ago, his response was "out of here" and he is still here. Yes he wants to go to rehab, but he has not yet done it. Yes, he wants to publish this book, but he has not yet done it so truly although we should always celebrate the little things. The guy is still on fentanyl and homeless When Marchâ asked and then Ozzie clarified that was when it was cleared up. Marchâ said not much has changed and Ozzie said a few things have. So on the appearance, it looked like nothing had changed everybody so quick to jump on Mark like any of you could do anything different or better?

So glad we got an update on Ozzy and that he is still around and seems to be making progress. Because unlike Mark, I do not think he is in the exact same place as 5 years ago, it seems to me he has made solid progress Giving up zanax is a huge accomplishment, he can be very proud of. Having a roof over his head, even around Skid Row, is also a great step forward. He mentionned eating clean, making contact with family and friends, so even if he is not clean of Fent, he is making plenty of steps in the right direction, and can be very proud of what he has accomplished so far. Ozzy if you read this, keep up all the progress, and very soon you will be ready to quit drugs, make a proiority of yourself, you absolutely deserve it !

I commend you for getting off the Xanax. You're lucky that it wasn't fatal for you, as it very well could have been with the seizures. I went cold turkey off Xanax in 2019, and it was literally hell on earth! I suffered so much, but thank God I didn't have any seizures. I went off Xanax, Ambien AND alcohol cold turkey...all at the same time too! I was SOOO sick that I lost 62 lbs in just a couple of months. Then it turned into "protracted withdrawal syndrome", and 6 years later I still have some awful lingering symptoms. You sound like an intelligent person. Clean your life up now, as it goes by far too fast! I wish you well, and I will pray for you. I will ask Jesus to guide you back. 🙏🏼✝️♥️

I have gone on and off Xanax for years. The longer you relapse on it the worse the withdrawals get. One time a few years ago I had a really heavy habit and stopped. I was going about my day and just felt weird, like brain zaps and next thing I know I wake up on the kitchen floor with paramedics coming through the door because I started having seizures from stopping and starting again. There’s a proper way to get off them without it being absolute hell…

This is why i dont even talk about getting clean of xanz. People dont understand the difficulty and will power required to achieve abstinence without relapsing. I went through 3 years of protracted withdrawals getting off fentanyl benzos and methadone. To say it was hard would be an incredible understatement. I went from 112 lb to now I'm 170. And the mental stuff I can't even put it into words. Honestly if I would have known how long it was going to take and when I was going to go through I don't know what I would do at that moment but I'm glad I'm where I'm at now I'm incredibly glad. My mom took almost 2 years to withdraw from Xanax, it was the worst to watch, the seizures, the psychosis, the depression, I could go on. 2 months after her verbalizing that she was starting to finally feel more “normal” again, she suddenly passed away. 57 years old…I have such sadness, Xanax stole 20 years of her life from us, and in the end I feel like it was still a contributing factor in her passing. She spoke of how difficult, to put it lightly, coming off of Xanax was, and how in retrospect her life that led to a prescription was better than the chokehold Xanax kept on her. Before Xanax we had an anxious mom in social situations, after Xanax was started she was ima doped up, absent state, unable to connect or care outwardly. I suppose it was intended to help her, but it robbed her. 😢

It is possible to withdraw from benzodiazepines . The key is to do it very slowly. It may take reducing by 1/8 to 1/4 every two weeks. Take it as slow as you need and do it by feel. I have successfully stopped benzos without bad withdrawal symptoms. The worst thing you can do is try to go cold turkey.
