These are the best PODCASTS I HAVE EVER SEEN. THESE Vietnam War SOG-MACV are the bravest men to do what they did without all these fancy gadgets we have today. It's inspiring as heck and reinforce's my COMMITMENT TO KEEP OUR CONSTITUTIONAL FREEDOMS AND AND RIGHTS. ALSO DO AWAY WITH THE FBI, CIA,IRS and start over with PEOPLE THAT'S NOT AN ARM OF THE DAMACRAT SOCIALIST COMMUNIST REGIME. If an FBI HEAD OF OPERATIONS CAN SAY THEY WILL PICK THE PRESIDENT. Not going to be POTUS DONALD J TRUMP then I can say I would go to war to fix this mess in Washington of Carrier POLITICIANS. TERM LIMITS HAVE TO BE MADE.

Great interview of a truly amazing guy. "...worse mission ever," he says with a big grin: what a life! My first husband did 2 tours in Vietnam as a Crew Chief/Door Gunner flying Green Berets into Cambodia & Laos. He told me the government was lying about being in those countries. The government kept insisting we did not have troops there. Technically, we didn’t have ground troops there but special forces were. These guys were amazing. Even though my husband was shot down 3x’s he and many others survived but there are still over 150 green berets missing, no trace😢Much respect🇺🇸

Years later, this man seeks to finish a mission, which, in his mind he failed. This speaks to a obsessive, dogged determination, inherited from their fathers, the greatest generation, who essentially blew up Europe, only to rebuild it. Neither ot these two treasures fell far from that tree. Thanks Jock, Echo..

You obviously have done your homework in preparation for each interview. You also do a great job asking your guests to explain technical terms and lingo that your audience may not understand. These interviews should be archived in the Smithsonian. Thank you Jocko, John, the guests, and all those working behind the scenes to document these stories!

Kureth a book about his Vietnam experience titled, “Refections Of A Warrior”, a book now out of print, yet one of the well written books I have ever read on Special Forces combat in Vietnam, it would be great if Jim and Tilt could do a podcast highlighting Miller’s service and his team and the events related to Frank being awarded The Congressional Medal Of Honor.

I had a math teacher in highschool as well, it was a BSI(basic math class of about 9 students) Mr Yanazo was his name & when I would come to school with my worn out MIA-POW t shirt this gave us a opportunity to talk about life, war & knowledge., he was around for the Newark Nj riots where he & his family defended their home & his time in Vietnam. I don't remember all the stories but the e one I'll never forget was he was out on a patrol not sure where but out of the group that he left with all were kIA except one other man that he all 5' tall carried this man for what I remember him saying over 5k through off trail jungle in which he lost his whole platoon. It wasn't the story that stuck with me it was how his eyes were fixed as if he was looking a mile away & never blinked. The details I remember at the time were so devastating & seemed everything possible was working against them but he just "slowly & surely pressed on" this man single handedly had my respect as a teacher because of the way in which he connected with me on a level no other teacher ever has till this day. I wish I could somehow talk to him again & document his experiences that were so F‰cking heroic & selfless. To this day I think of Mr Yanazo the 5' tall Vietnam Vet from Newark NJ several times a year. The men who served in WW1,(Great Great Granduncle,WW2 (Great Grandfather's}, The Korean War (my Grandpa), Vietnam War (two of my Uncles) all seemed to be a different type of man. From age 5-16 i was obsessed with these conflicts & collected belts, jackets, hats, gloves, canteens, shovels, grenades, bullets helmets patches & pins Ii had the best setupmwhen we would play war as a kid... I can't believe that I didn't serve that's only because Skateboarding allowed home to travel the world. Much respect to all that served & to those who are currently serving.

I know what I'm listening to tomorrow at work. Love hearing the Vietnam stories. I think there should be a band of brothers type show but about the Vietnam war. Any one else feel the same?

Tilt seems like such a cool laid-back dude. Never in a million years think that he used to literally be RAMBO. I've always had so much respect for Vietnam Vets, but it's gone to a whole new level now. So glad we get to learn about MAC V SOG and these heroes are still with us to tell their experiences. 💪💪💪

I never met him but I felt like I met him at the wall. God bless . Ron h. Lewis is from Providence RI . We lived on Eastwood Ave near Vinny pazienzas gym . Ty

Those SOG stories are straight out of movies. It's insane what they did.

Love listening to these stories! A very good friend of mine was a LRRP (RecondoV 1st Cav) and his stories amaze me at how much intestinal fortitude these men had to make it through each day. Much respect to them all!!!

My grandfather is a Vietnam vet and he passed in '02. Jim looks and sounds exactly like him minus the long hair, I honestly can't describe how I felt watching this video but it brought back some great memories. Thankful for hard men like Jim "Wild Carrot" Jones.
