The hardest part of the COVID isolation for me is not being able to sing with my brothers (and sister Stephanie) in the Seattle Men's Chorus. Especially because we could not perform this song in our spring concert. I ugly cried my way through my first viewing of this video. It's speaks to me of the joy I will feel when I am once again able to sing with SMC and share our vision of justice, equality, and inclusion for all people.

You may not have shared that, and had the opportunity to move on to something else. Instead, you chose to take a moment and be negative in a space that, before your contribution, had been unanimously uplifting and happy. Do you want to be that person? @@DDumbrille You are entitled to whatever opinion you want. Nobody is depriving you of any freedom of speech. I am suggesting that when you enter a space filled with positive happy energy, if you do not share that energy, you have options. One option is to allow others to be extremely happy and enjoy something that you don't. The other is to try to bring people down. You have a choice. Your freedom of speech does not mean you are free from being judged for what you do with your speech. When you come into a unanimously happy space and start being critical and negative - your character is revealed. Consider keeping negative thoughts to yourself.
