I'm pleased you like it. I do have more film from the WR line from Padd to Swindon, from 1985 to the late 90s. So there will be more decent thrash videos to come!

Thanks Soi! So it was a sort of heritage line?
@SoiBuakhaoRoutemasterbus4 жыл бұрын
@@johnmichaeldorienjohn467 No, it was the GWR' s branch to Brentford. The passenger service has long since gone but freight trains use it to this day. At the end is a Day's Aggregates terminal and a West Waste 'binliner' terminal. This was just a rail enthusiast's tour that visited several freight lines that day.

The Pilkington Glass Livered MK1’s what a bizarre let's say eye catching Livery😬 😕 Now electrified prefer the Diesel days personally 👍🏻 Thanks for some not too distant times, nostalgia footage

Yes, this area has changed quite a bit since i filmed this. And that set was hard to miss, i'm sure it's on another vid of mine somewhere.

What a desolute looking place it was back then. Another great video though 👍

I don't think it has improved much. The yard has now closed and the place is even more run down.

On a railtour that went along the Brentford branch. It used to be the Great Western's way of reaching the Thames, with a station over Brentford High Road. I believe passengers services stopped in the first world war. The line today ends short of the A4 where there is a West Waste refuse transfer station and a Days Aggregates yard, both next door the the Harrords warehouse!
