What a beautiful offering from Plymouth. A bit different than today's minivans and anything else they've done in the last several decades or so. However driving something that nice has got to be like living on eggshells due to the horrible driving abilities of others on the road that want to hit you in with a car like that I'm sure everybody's aiming for it subconsciously. And being in a parking lot is probably the most dangerous place of all for a car like that. That's the only thing I don't like about a high-performance badass cars is the risk of damage due to some prick that doesn't care or doesn't know what the fuck is doing to such a classic work of art. They sure as hell don't make them like this anymore. Long gone are other muscle cars of the 50's,60s and 70s

I hate when people claim 150 mph, I am an old school hot rodder and I know what all the hot rod magazines of this era tested these cars at, lucky to have a 13 second quarter mile time and up until recent years 128mph or so was definitely top speed (yes I know it felt like 150, but really???? Just saying......

440 serious horsepower

I think the 440 should've been stock for the less optioned Road Runner and Superbee. The 383 is great engine but seems more suited for a heavily optioned cruiser like the GTX and Cornet R/T.

Well, my 69 RR W/ 530 horse- 440 /4 speed/3:73 gears went side by side up to 130 mph in traffic last week with a 69 Super Bee W/500 horse 383/5 speed/3:91 gears. The 440 longer stroke, made up for the 1 less gear. This is what I get for fine tuning his 383 Super Bee !

I am too 'Mopar proud" to back down from a race, but should know better @ 63 yrs old! My friend with the Super Bee might be more of a speed demon than me, but who knew? It was suppose to be a casual cruise. A lot can go wrong out there. And it has. Not cool putting others at risk, last time for me. Racing at the drags is more fun/safer anyway. Cheers!

@@ws678ta Where do you live young man? I'm reporting you to the police right now. Right now, I tell you! These young kids today are out of control. You mean on the hood right next to the air grabber? The only thing I've ever seen on the air grabber pop up is the head of that guy with the big mouth and the menacing, razor sharp teeth. Did I miss something? So the guy is right, there are no 440 emblems anywhere on the car. And why the heck didn't he open the hood? Most amateur muscle car sales videos, don't show the car being driven much, just revving the engine or going back and forth in a parking lot, but they always show you the engine. This guy did the exact opposite. Smh....

@@benjaminfranklinhawkeyepie9721 I think I know where you're talking about...at the end of the power bulge that the pop-up is mounted on,, facing the driver, in between the turn signals (yes it had turn signals there, too), i've sometimes seen a small 440 emblem, but I didn't see one on this car. I don't know which cars had the electric pop-up and which didn't. I know some worked off vacuum and some were electric.
