This car still has the panache and elegance it had when new. It still says "look at me, I've made it in America." It's still a symbol of opulence and upper echelons. I love this car. It's the lines. They never got old. This is classic Mercedes. I was looking for an E46 M3 convertible, but this car is the second and only other convertible I'll consider. I honestly can't decide. Maintenance is about the same (SL500 is what I'm looking at) but to get in one.....well the merc is thousands upon thousands cheaper. But the M3 has a backseat. I usually drive alone and I drive a coupe now. So I'm considering the SL on the sole basis that, it's just me 90% of the time. But when it's not. It's usually 2-3 people riding with me which makes the M3 the better choice. But...the Mercedes. Help lol
