Today Hasbro pulse sold the convention exclusive GIJOE cobra Commander Once a Man, Star Wars Black Series Maul and Speeder Bike, Marvel Legends Deaths Head!
They sold out in minutes, and left also of fans upset and the the comedy ensues!

What!!! That’s ridiculous. You can order now if you click on the blue add to cart button. As of 0500 PST 8/6 but if you click on the product it still says coming at 1100 EST

Really should be you can only buy 1 per day at the convention, but you should be able put in as many orders as you like to be shipped later.

Bit of a mess mainly due to a lack of communication and the limits being too high (in the US). Should have confirmed the launch date/time earlier & announce there would be a second drop. Luckily it wasn't too bad in the UK, Death's Head being Pulse exclusive was annoying but it still took over 6hrs to sell out, the rest are still in stock half a day later. Limits are per account but there doesn't seem to be much of a check on creating extra accounts.

One is enough for me. Hopefully preorder window is such that anyone can get it. Then those buying multiples for capitalizing on FOMO end up with surplus stock that isn’t as desirable or better yet, less sellable.

Not disputing your issues with the preorder On Saturday afternoon they opened up the line with limit 4 (and you could go back in the line) On Sunday they had no limits, the line was open and they never sold out they wanted people to buy more so they didn’t have to pack as many up

When I hit the line Saturday it was limit 2, they told me I could get one more at that time. Mailed it to a friend. My bad for skipping Sunday so that’s 100 on me and my feet.

Great rant. I don’t understand how Hasbro doesn’t see this coming and plan better. Mindbender and serpentor rollouts were disasters. Chuckles was better last year because not as many people wanted him. I was able to get my order in today. I felt bad for those that couldn’t (stupid to have a max 5 limit). With pulse you can’t go above the limit. They check your account for your previous orders during checkout. So someone that ordered 5 today can’t order any more until they remove the limit for the item.

Wow, this was a serious rant and one that had many legs and avenues. As far as Comic-Con goes, the same rules should be applied for Friday and Saturday, Sunday might be more of a take whatever is left kind of situation, so I understand that. As for the online and Hasbro Pulse rollout, what a disaster in my opinion. Changing dates, changing times, changing rules, issues checking out and adding to cart. What a complete mess. Ugh. I just hope that everyone who had something they wanted, will be able to get them without going to the secondary market or scalpers. 🙏

They let the wrong people go in their budget cuts, launching the haslab before their panel, this post SDCC sale are just a couple of examples… Hopefully everything will pop up at 11EST for those that want to buy.

I fully expect that one day, (when inevitably, sales expectations at Hasbro get low), they'll turn around and re-release all of the Haslab's again. Sorry they burned ya buddy. BUT, I appreciate the video, because even though I'm 1/18 scale collector, I thought about getting this, (because I do have free shipping and thought this would be super exclusive), but I see he is still up at Hasbro pulse with a 5 per customer limit. He does look cool though, I'm going to have to make a 1/18 custom.

I’m good as I got the ones I wanted at comic con. I do like to keep one in box of “exclusives” but I won’t lose any sleep over this. I wish they had just moved into preorder instead of “selling out” that would’ve been better. I’m sure inventory systems could figure that out in real time.

Yeah I totally get it, the limit 5 online yesterday was a bit much. They should have started with a smaller limit and opened it midweek if they didn’t sell out. I think that miscalculation and the new website issues caused a lot of headaches
