Installed a V6 on a V2 switch using wires for abdc 3 3v. Getting long yellow and purple pulses with 3 red at the end then it boot OFW...tried emmc and motherboard points from still no dice... i wondering if it can be reprogrammed or something?

i think red means the dat0 is not connected properly

Thank you for your reply...I got the same results from using either alt points...when I was going to throwing in the towel remove the modchip i noticed the cpu flex cable was moving when touched on the right side also the cable had a little bend in it after touch up of the cpu points and kinda straightening the cable it now glitches. Only issue now if i place it flat on the cpu shield it give purple then yellow then red to OFW so have to adjusting as I go along with reassembly.

6:09. For the CPU FPC cable, this video fails to show that the cable needs to go underneath the metal bracket (camera was too zoomed to see it). I installed it over the bracket which caused the mosfet (mounted to the cable) to get grounded out causing a Picofly error code on boot. Otherwise, this is a very to-the-point video.

yes, you need to put the metal under the bracket OR you cannot close or cover the CPU. that is pure logical.

On your online diagrams showing where to solder a V6 mod chip on a V2 you supply two options. One diagram shows the solder points coming off the nand itself. The other one shows the points coming off the board and not the nand. Is there any reason for the two different diagrams? Which one should I go by? Thanks

you need to use the latest Luma3DS to fix the issue. maybe your SD card is not detected too, it should be in FAT32

And you need the V1 ribbon cable for sp1 and sp2. V2, Lite and OLED use the same cable. The cable itself says OLED but it works on v2, lite and OLED. But for V1 you need a different cable. One that says v1
