1:48 i have it too whenever i inject a payload but could it really mean something? i modded my erista switch almost a year ago thanks to the written guides and your channel and sometimes it did show that, no problems now and after 6 whole years (soon 7 in november) of having the erista, its battery health is at 95% btw, you are soon to 100k! great content!

injecting a payload will automatically turn on the console that is normal.

@@sthetixofficial i know but thanks for responding, but another thing to mention is that when i go on launch via hekate and boot into emummc, semistock or sysmmc cfw, there is that charging battery icon even if i dont have any cable connected. sometimes it shows the battery or shows atmosphère logo

When you are applying heat to the MAX77620H chip how do you make sure you do not desolder the components around it?

hi sthetix, im a fan of your modding skills. Just want to ask if what is the fix when a switch totally powered off, the fan will suddenly rotate at maximum speed. but when I turn ON the switch, the fan will stop rotating and will only rotate when it's needed.

@sthetixofficial yes OLED, thank you! i have tried to get that chip from a donor board but it is very hard to take out. i use hot air 400 deg celsius and airflow 4.5 but the solder at the bottom is not melting. any advice? :)

use a preheater like the mechanic ix50 to help you with it .. set the bottom to about 200 and blast it from above to remove the chip easily

is your console modchipped? try to press and hold the power button for 12 secs and try pressing the power button again.

Hey I have weird issue with my Oled after Picofly install. Power and Volume button wont work. It only works when the switch is off and I press Volume + Power button at the same time, only then the switch will boot up. Other than that the buttons dont work at all, OFW and hekate doesnt matter. What could be the issue here? I already changed the cable and tried it on another switch. Checked the connector and I dont have any shorts or different readings. Please help

you need to discard the Pico.. Pico is known to have various issues

Hey! When I do the same measurement on my switch, i get 0.85V with the black probe and 2.3V with the red probe in diode mode. So can I also conclude that my MAX77620H is faulty? Thanks in advance and thank you for your amazing work. The symptoms of my switch are that it only boots to the nintendo logo and then shuts off (only when plugged in).

how do you know if the max chip is faulty? how can you be sure it is not a software issue?

I thought wrong diode values would always mean that there is a hardware issue, which I would like to fix before I mod my console

Hi, I have question a Nintendo switch switch came in for repair I change the usb port and P13 chip as it had shots. Now switch is fix working and charging fine. But the problem is it is not docking. I have checked LCD connector it is fine as well and there is no shot around M92 chip as well. But still not image on TV. What could the problem and advice

you need to check for the USB port and P13 again and check the connection between the power and the P13 USB . buy a USB tail tester / USB breakout board and you can see the error later.
