Well that’s great and thank you. But also check your walk belt worn walking belt causes 90 % of controller issues. Push walk your walk belt walk on sides then in center if it is harder in center then belt cause the controller to go bad I have videos on that 😁

@@FitnessTechnologyServices yep, just tried that and it is definitely harder to push walk in the center of the belt...pretty easy on the sides. So, replace the belt too?

Thanks for hosting this commentary on the Sole Treadmill. I am getting the LS1 Error (low speed) and the belt stops; I pushed the belt for 20 seconds or so then tried to raise the angle and that also was not working. After I restart it everything works for about 5 - 10 mins at 2-2.5 mph before stopping with the LS1 error again. Could this be due to a worn belt that is causing the motor to work harder and overheat the protection component?

Well you are so welcome I would start with seeing if you can run the unit for 20 minutes or so with no one on it. This will test the speed sensor and somewhat the controller. If unit only fails when a user on it then it looks like walking belt.send me your serial number to [e-mail] so I can see what belt you have. And please subscribe Dave

I did your troubleshooting exercise with my F80. When I turned the belt I did not receive the LS1 error code. I attempted to lift the deck on an incline; however, it would not rise either. Would my problem most likely be the control panel still/too?

Hi. We are having this LS1 problem on our 2010 F80. We did the test in this video and it did exactly what yours did. The only thing is that it sometimes totally works with no issues. Sometimes we can turn it on and it works flawlessly. Would you say it’s still the motor sensor? Thank you!

I have enjoyed watching all your videos to try and figure out why my F80 does not work. My daughter-in-law gave me her treadmill when It quit working for her. She said it blew the breaker at the house when she was running on it and it quit. I checked the motor with a battery from my electric drill and the motor started and the belt started moving. When I plug it in and turn it on all the things on the upper board light up and start going through all the displays...hill, fatburn, cardio, etc. If I push "start" it makes a noise like it is going to start moving, but nothing happens. The LS1 shows up and low speed error starts flashing. I was thinking it might be the motor control board after watching your videos, but I'm not sure. I also noticed three little green lights that come on on the motor control board when I turn the treadmill switch on. Just wandering what you think could be wrong?

Sir, I have a Sole S73 treadmill. Approx 2005. Everything comes on (incline motor, cntrl panel, fans), but belt won't turn. I think its motor cntrl circuit board. What do you think and do you sell?

Also check the speed sensor on the left side by the front roller. If it is not aligned with the flywheel it will not detect any speed. This is a simple fix, just realign it.

I just bought an F63 Sole treadmill and none of the buttons on the console work. When I bought it the person that sold it to me got it to run and she pushed two buttons to start. I was able to make it run one time but since then I can't make it run. Nothing works, fan, program, speed, incline, etc. I have power to the dashboard and it scrolls by reading, press program to start, but I cant' get it to do anything, can you help me? It looks like new and has set around for three or four years unused!

Hmm two buttons to make it start that is not normal you should just it start.This sounds like a bad console or display you will have to remove back cover and remove one port at a time to see if one is shorted

You could switch the start button with the stop button just to see if start button is not sending signal

I have a F 85 with movement of the belt and just got a new motor but still get the Ls1 error. Tried adjusting speed sensor. Passes calibration but as soon as I step on it slows down and Ls1 low speed error. Can you suggest anything.

F63 Ls1 error was walking when it tripped breaker and now everything turns on except belt doesn't run.If I do this video diagnostics it seems motor board is bad any other test hate to spend $ on new board and not work or blow new board up.

This is honestly hard to say Most likely a worn walking belt overheating connections. Did the lug on the controller melt also. There are some times controller just goes bad but normally the lug on controller melts then

I would start off with running it with no one on it . If it runs for more than 20 mins by it’s self then the walk belt is worn I would be careful worn walking belt blows the controller board! Yes normally the motor is under warranty so it is the first thing.But almost never the issue! You will have to do a walk test on your walk belt 80% of the time a worn walking belt blows the lower controller I have videos on this fitness technology services see walk belt test
