As someone who bought 3 boxes of rarity collection 1, i find this hard to swallow, mainly due to the price per box. yes, i know there are more cards per pack, but it's just a big initial investment, i've seen single packs for £10.....ouch!

However you’re right, it shoulda been taking one of the jank filler slots and there are so many cards in ra02 that shouldn’t be in there

Who the hell wanted Exosisters and Sol and Luna??!? I swear Konami is so out of touch with their own game. It makes continuing to buy these products and play the game unbearable.

This is the best take I have seen. Also, those Blue-Eyes aren't whatever imo. They are needed. There is no reason a bad deck that is causals/anime fans to be 200-300 USD because of Bingo Machine, Jet and Alternative. Same reason the Magician Soul Reprint is good.

Funny how RC01 was a banger because it was a reprint set that the TCG just copied card for card (minus Maxx "C") from the OCG. Then the TCG tries to do it on its own (since there was no "Rarity Collection II" in the OCG) and people react this way lol Ryko/Hamster/Charge is also very commonly played engine in Edison, so hats of the TCG for giving past formats some love in this set; I did really appreciate them doing that.

Tbh, if they want to please the Edison, Goat and any other Format Community, they should do like a TimeWizard Collection, cause in a Rarity Collection there should be Cards, that needed a reprint more than Ryko or Hamster like for example Trident Dragion, Bystials, Thrust, Spright Cards, Kashtira Fenrir, Kaleidoheart, Vicious Astro, Quemm, Granginiol, Yama, Summon Sorceress and unban it with new errata, so that Yubel has more power, SuperPoly. This Set is fr fr bad and not bang for your buck

I’m conflicted on this set, on the one hand, I think for the standards of a TCG reprint set it’s phenomenal. Gets us all the planets. great staples in droll, judgement, mourner, strike, cross out, and a myriad of others. Sure it’s missing some stuff like Fenrir and the kashtira, but also this sets really really solid. The biggest problem is the price per box. 140$ is just insane, and will cause less people to open the box, making the cards more exspensive

If it would be difficult to do better than the Rarity 1, why they increase the price ?! It's so illogic... And some cards was waiting here (Thrust, Fenrir, Chaos Angel, Dis Patter, BystialS, Queem or Granguignol, etc), but they are not presents... Nothing justify the price of the product, the most expensive ones going to be Masquerena, Apollousa and Accesscode, but some good cards missing

A lot of people are looking at RC1 with rose colored glasses. Please go look at the amount of duds in RC1. This set may not have an Ash or an Imperm, but its valued is spread around more evenly. Also, don't forgets, these Platinum rares are much more desirable, bringing up the value of any of those cards you pull.

People forget how these cards go in and out of formats. For me it`s solely about the price per box. The reprints per se are fine, but not for 150€ per box. It`s just a ripoff. Where are Kashtira Fenrir, Chaos Angel, Trident Dragion and others? The set is pretty mid for me personally as I have at least 80% of the staples or generic cards there, at least in low rarity but I have them and the rest I do not have the interest to get them or get the ones I already have in a higher rarity. That's for me but I know many people will benefit from this still and probably in some point in the future this will be a banger like Duel Devastator was.

The set is just extremely mid imo. No reason to even buy any packs other than to support LGS's. Of course singles are cheaper, but at least with RC1 I felt happy with nearly every pack and that made it worth it. I've watched several box openings and have seen maybe 4 or 5 packs that looked kind of neat. Nobody at my LGS wants it anymore either which sucks for the shop too. Idk. Not even upset about it anymore though, just disappointed lol

Way too much jank shit and random archetype cards. Rarity collcetion 1 was good because it was bold and reprinted strong cards that needed it. Rarity collection 2 is just a throw away TCG exclusive product. RC01 is probably a 9/10 set. RC02 is like a 6/10 set. You have to account for the price and 180 dollars MSRP for a product that only prints ancient cards and random archetype cards that should have already been cheap is bad.
