Close enough to have ash is pretty close. They just took the rain out of our forecast for our area this coming week. ☹️ We had a few pneumonia cases lately likely caused by wind and dust. Take care, Annette 🌺

Yup.. a little bit of mother nature's electricity... Good thing it didn't light up your place!! That smoke does a number on crops!! At least you can see a ways! A couple years ago, we were 2miles from the fires here.. couldn't see across the yard most of the time.. yard light was on for over 3 weeks, never got light enough to shut it off.. Stay safe!!!!

How far away are the fires from you?
@AlbertaRanch Жыл бұрын
Drayton Valley one is the closest. Hour and 15 away. Drayton was evacuated, lost a few houses.

What's causing all the fire's up there? Stay safe one man cattle rancher.
@AlbertaRanch Жыл бұрын
There is always a period when the snow melts and the grass hasn't greened up yet where the fire hazard is very high. This year we didn't have much moisture in April and May to green things up and with lightning and man made stupidity the fires got going big time.
