I was into this kind of stuff when I was a little kid, I didn't even realize it was called Solipsism until much later when I started researching different philosophies. I used to hypothesize about everyone else being robots and that maybe I was the only real one... Obviously this kind of thing wears off as you get older and experience life, but I've always stuck to the idea of nothing being objectively true unless I can prove it to be true through my own personal experiences. This forces you to actually know what you're talking about and be genuinely invested in your beliefs, but also allows you to keep an extremely open mind.

I think that at the most base level of reality, solipsism is real because God, which is just pure consciousness, is really all that truly exists. If that's the case, that means we are all part of that one God. We are all God experiencing the Universe. But here's what makes this truly interesting. While there is only one God, one theory suggests that God subdivided Godself into many little points of consciousness so that God could experience the Universe from the points of view of every living thing in the Universe, just to make the whole experience more interesting. So we are simultaneously individuals and the All Of Everything at the same time. So the answer is we are all our own person on one level, but on a deeper level, I'm just talking to myself right now.

There's no reason for me to even comment but I'm curious of the replies... I am a solipsist and it's funny listening to my reflection talk about the concept as if there are actually a multiplicity of individuals.. I found this video looking around KZbin land for someone who claims to be a solipsist to challenge "their" beliefs in themselves... My first question would be, who did you make this video for? But as I type this I ask myself who am I commenting to... I like Alan Watts' story about a party filled with solipsists arguing which one was real. LOL I see everyone as NPCs. Sometimes players drop into the NPCs. Those players are just the archetypical characters of myself played out in the mirror.. just a one-man show for an audience of one.

@@donnydread7631 you seem like a cool version of us. Here’s some information you can either take or leave. I’m sure your aware of the impending financial collapse of global fiat currencies we’re about to witness The whole banking sector is moving to iso20022 messaging standard as we speak and getting ready to roll out central bank digital currency. These currencies will operate on certain crypto blockchains. out of the 19,000 plus cryptos out there, there’s only 5 that are iso20022 compliant and two that are part of the iso20022 standard body. Ripple Xrp and stellar Xlm are the two that are part of the standard body and Xdc algorand and iota are the remaining compliant blockchains. These blockchains are already partnered with central banks and major institutions all around the world. xrp will be utilized for the derivatives market and large cross border transfers Xlm is focused on retail transactions Xdc is for trade finance with smart contract capabilities algorand for dapps and iota is for the internet of things and machine to machine, machine to human and smart cities transactions We are at the cusp of this global financial collapse, this has been planned for quite a long time now. Fiat of all countries will be worthless. Most of the crypto market will go to zero. Once regulations are set we will see a utility bull run like we’ve never seen before in the crypto market for only certain blockchains.anyone in the know will be moving their value into this new system. In the near future a blockchains worth will be in its protocols utility and the useless doge and bitcoin blockchains will be worthless. This is part of the fourth industrial revolution where everything will be digitized and tokenized for the introduction of ai and transhumanism at the very least put your fiat currencies into real money gold and silver. Dive into this information you’ll enjoy the rest of your ride if you do. I’d say good luck! but luck is just said by someone who does not understand cause and effect.

Solipsism, as you describe it, is as equally provable as it is unproven. However, observational solipsism is the reality of human existence. Nothing you observe/measure/SENSE is The reality of the universe; it is only how WE sense it, observe and measure it, and SUBJECTIVELY understand from the constraints of human apprehension capabilities. Further, being subjective, it is ONLY understood the way it is understood BY YOU ALONE. Sensory data is apprehended by YOUR subjective senses and digested by YOUR subjective brain, whose capability to understand those observations via the lessons of YOUR past experiences and learnings. YOUR understanding of data creates YOUR unique reality; even if someone observed the same events you observe, their reality would be different because of their different accumulation of observations throughout their lifetime. Even if they observed and experienced EXACTLY the same things you do your entre life, each person’s genetic capabilities vary, and thus so will their understanding and their resultant self-created reality. So, whether we are experiencing a life alone, dreaming and creating other physical beings, or we are experiencing a life full of other physical human beings, whose understand and view of them we understand SUBJECTIVELY, it’s the same thing ultimately. The only consolation we have as humans is that, yes, we all are alone in our subjective reality, but we all are alone together. That is, subjective we all are alone, and subjectively we all are the same, and thus we are together, in the same boat (sorta speak). This subjective torture, the realization of this truism is terrifying indeed, and was well understood to past generations who were confronted the reality in nature daily, not deluded by the consumerist society we built, and that is why LYING used to be the greatest crime against civilization that you could commit; lying demises us all, as a species, as a being, in that it makes our history, our having BEEN less than it was, since it can be neither trur nor false, since it could be a lie.
