Don't know how practical it would be to do so but in upur future build videos it may be useful for us viewers if you would keep a running total of how much the build is costing. Then we would know approximately how many resources we would need to have before starting a build or upgrading.

Anyways, that's what I use to plan my Solo bases. The app gives you an exact amount of resources to build AND upkeep. No spoon feeding me required lol

It's really rough and you gotta move around a lot. Make sure the t3 is flush against the wall or it won't work

I think it will only auto seal if it's hit if rockets, explosive ammo or grenades.

The bunker will only seal when the garage is hit by rockets with splash damage, however thats where the shotgun trap comes in, when they walk in, it'll shoot out the twig and raiders will be stuck inside.

@@brandonrodda168 gotchya gotchya, thanks... Yeaah only thing is, if they have enough boom for the last 2 garage doors after the bunkers garage door, then they can just take TC, and rebuild the twig frame.. so it seems to be that a major tactic to prevent that would be to have external TCs

Idk exact costs by memory rn, but it's just about the same in any direction. The key part is they have to continue blowing to get all the loot as it's all super separated Even the t3 placement acts as extra defense against back side raids

You have next to zero mobility inside and no roof access which are both crucial if you like to PvP. It's just a death tomb with a standard raid cost

I just built this in my own server and if you extend from all three points of the floorplan around six foundations long (from memory) you can get perfect overlap on externals. Quite a handy design actually.

Its pretty nice cozy design. Although with my electrical setup it'll be a 2 battery failover system which does require 2 large batteries with plenty solar to keep them charged 24/7, and enough power for 10 industrial lights + whatever other electricals like heaters if living in the snow biome. In my previous wipe I was living out of a cave base, and I got a lucky large cave base that was close enough to the surface so I built a power station disguised as a Horse Fertilizer Farm to power the underground cave base. I had 1 Wind Turbine and 10 solar panels, plus few extra panels to have lights on for the Horse Fertilizer Farm by splitting off power to a separate power grid, I think if I rebuilt that base to power a cave base, I'd have way more wind turbines. -- It was built in the snow biome, so I had about 25-30 industrial lights in the cave base, plus 12 electric heaters to keep the place warm.

I love building small and lowkey bases designed by myself not copied , they get raided a lot less then if I were to build a "real" base .. I have a go to 2x1 starter design , thats multipurpose. Not really strong , but cheap and easy to convert into a flank base what I often do and use throughout the wipe, it can be a trapbase when I want to tick people off, or a node /scrapfarm. I never bin a real fan of bunker bases , this one however makes me wanna go totaly against my own principles.. I am gonna take it out for a spin .. thanks for this ingenious design

The door way works a charm, raiders managed to blow my garage door off and ger passed roof to trigger the self seal i used a twig floor and flame turret i didnt log in so missed the loot

nice vid, if it comes to trio or even duo you'll need a roof access on this bad boy, also in order to expand and make a compound you'll have to add wide gaps and other TC's , if by a miracle you can add another bunker method to it , then it will be a very good base for trio's, also you never showed the build cost and the upkeep

Are you making it through your wipes with these bases without getting TC raided? I feel like on medium to high pop servers that allow duo or higher the raid cost for this is to low last long. Not knocking the build, I'm just curious what kind of server environment you're testing this on. Thanks for your content!

I typically play vanilla officials or 300 pop 2xs. These kind of bases often prove more difficult than anticipated and when placed near easier raid targets, or just if avoiding making enemies, I can have them do very well! My thing with this one is its so cheap to maintain I could make 3 or 4 around the map and have several spawns and sets of loot

If you're solo/duo, there really isn't a good way to make a base that won't get raided unless you spend 8 hours a day farming. You're better off with a few 2x1's or 2x2s around the map, and not putting all your eggs in one basket. An upgraded bunkered 2x2 will have a minimum raid cost to TC of 20 or so rockets, if that didn't dissuade them making it 30 rockets won't either.

I love how I created the starter base and now everyone has made a video on it. I usually use triangle and regular Fondations around it. I was the og creator for the started design. Glad to see a few people raided them and now everyone knows about it. Expect more to come from the Chad builder here. Also, this isn't a negative comment. Just letting everyone know the starter for triangle with square foundations was me about 2 years ago and continues to this day. I hope everyone enjoys. @reksmore. After the 1st December update this roof bunker design no longer works. You can't make a roof chute using this method anymore.
