Sweet! Nice one. Love that your setup proves to the heavy arrows high poundage crowd it’s not really required. Great hit too. 👍👍

Thank you! Penetration is secondary to point of impact and penetration won't matter if you don't hit the target.

Since you asked, not sure what camera and or lens your using, low is difficult. Id be happy to help with some solutions if you need help down the road (camera set up) Seen the TEXAS in the thumbnail. hahha, our state is so big you could still be 2 days away hahah. Im deep east texas, STrated hunting this part of texas this year, it is public and has been a challenge for certain, I have been bowhunting for decades now, however this is totally different than the hunting I grew up doing in Oklahoma. Congrats on your Harvest, Very nicely done on the explanation of the impact and pass through, That my friend is a light arrow. thanks for sharing those stats as well. I think it truly helps others, way too many folks switching to 70-80 pound bows, and they will be like a lot of guys my age when they are my age, blown shoulders from pulling too much. I love the 45-- 60 pound weights, plenty for the average hunter. Congrats on your harvest and have a blessed week my friend. Dale

Nice shot! Have you ever tried sevr broadheads
@practical_archery17 күн бұрын
I have not shot sevr. I usually use fixed blades for deer, but I do a lot of broadhead testing on hogs. I've shot a lot of what's out there. I'll be testing beast broadheads next

good job, nice buck, my wife got hers on the 18th thanks to that cold front. are those slick trick broadheads? she shoots the same ones if they are.

Congratulations to your wife! I got mine on the 17th. Beautiful weather. No, I'm shooting QAD Exodus broadheads. They have done great for me
@elithegreat113Ай бұрын
Do you use swept or full QAD broadheads?
@practical_archeryАй бұрын
@@elithegreat113 I have show both but I prefer the swept. I get a better blood trail with them and if you are shooting past 60y the swept fly better. You should check with your state laws however because the swept is considered a "barbed" Broadhead in a few states and outlawed. In Texas there's no problem.

@ yeah I live in Texas and use the swept QAD’s for aoudad and nilgai

Sorry for the long comment but you took the time to reply last time sooo... After looking into the cost of getting my bow restrung I think I'm just going to upgrade and currently looking at the bear legit or the diamond alter. The legit is cheaper and comes as a package but I've read bad things about no tie peeps. Is it worth the extra $100 to get the diamond? And if the no tie peeps fails can I then have a regular peep tied in? Thanks in advance Love the videos!
@practical_archery2 ай бұрын
Not sure what a no tie peep is... The bear legit has a tube peep and that should be tied in like any peep. If that's the budget you're looking for, I'd suggest the mission hammr or the elite ember. The ember is about $100ish more but the package comes with better quality accessories than the mission package. Hope this helps and good luck!

You don’t use knocking light for your arrow?

No, they are heavy and also I don't like having to turn them off every time

What? There's no way you didn't kill that with a 7000 grain arrow, and a "Single Bevel broadhead!" that weighs 200 grains. 😉 nice deer. Congrats.

Hahaha I said 265g by mistake! I meant 265 POUND arrow 🙂 with tannerite broadheads
