The places visited or was near are a different kettle of fish @ night! Deighton also & "lower Birkby" aka Sheepridge will always have the tarnish & sense of how it was before it had a makeover

Mate rubbish is my pet hate. People just happy with chucking rubbish everywhere, no one really cares about their own area anymore. It aint hard to just bin your rubbish, then there would be zero litter. I know what you mean

the derelict house was called dalton grange and was originally a private house before becoming a members bar and wedding venue, it was a great place in the 80s and 90s, think they found asbestos inside so good you didn't enter.

For a short time I lived in Deighton back in 2002 ....It was pretty much how you found it EXCEPT there was a 'Air' of caution come silent fear (for want of better wordage),.... This quiet , cautious , fearful atmosphere was cos of a gang fight between (so I was told!) The Locals and The Kosavans..... .....I don't mean any disrespect but im not 100% sure of the following , but a lad was killed in this fight and I THINK he was one of the Locals. The lampost where he died had become a place for reefs and cans of beer . I don't know if the hatred continued into ongoing warfare but perhaps some of the bumph you've been told about Deighton is stemming from these gang hassles of 2002. I also spent some time in MOLD GREEN (if it's spelled right?) and that was more hairy.

I grew up in Huddersfield (i don't live there now) and really enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing your walk through Deighton and Dalton looking for smackheads, it may have been a bit too early in the day. There are a lot worse areas than these. That old building was an interesting find.

This vid confirms something I've been thinking, you don't go to the worst areas, you go to areas or pubs that aren't dangerous at all but used to be 15 years ago and still have reputations. Both Dalton and Deighton have had regeneration projects, and while they may still look like shit, you aren't going to get any bother or owt. Get yer sen to Birkby or Fartown mate. Go have a pint in the The Harp Inn in Fartown on a Friday, or go to the The Lamb in Birkby on a Saturday night. That would be an interesting video. I mean, Birkby got the highest gun crime rate in the UK, and you're in Dalton where kids ACT like gangsters. If you just want somewhere downtrodden and shite, get down to Glasshoughton near Castleford. That is bad. Then check out some of the towns near Pontecarlo, some of the worst areas you're going to see.

I've watched several of your videos and they're potentially good, however the amount of times you keep turning the camera towards yourself ultimately makes them infuriating. Viewers primarily watch them to see the honest places, not you, despite how good looking you are of course. Have a think about it. Thanks

How do you know that "viewers primarily want to see the honest places"? Have you done a survey? Personally, I enjoy the interactions with the creator, so it's all a matter of opinion. Asking the content creator to "think" about altering his videos, to suit you, is unreasonable. If you don't enjoy the content, why are you watching it? Maybe, consider creating your own content, better suited to your preferences.
@martinsmusic22233 ай бұрын
@@danielcarney3182 I'm not watching so the question is irrelevant. I have no interest in watching cowards going to what they claim to be rough estates, during hours when the streets are empty with no evidence to prove such.
