This is a true statement. Any rider worth anything, hates to see another rider down. I've come up on bad accidents on the Interstate, and have said a prayer and reflected on my own riding habits at the time.

Some great scenery and greener than I would have expected, also the roads were better than expected as well. You've certainly being lucky with your service work which is important when your miles from home and in some cases afterward you're miles from any civilisation or help.

@@onherbike I bought a 2011 GS F800 on Saturday! And so the planning starts, Goal is to leave everything in 2 years and do a South Africa to Europe for atleast 3 years. Kinga your channel and FTA Adventures plays a big role in motivating me to do all this! The world is my book and my bike and camera will be my pen in which I will write my own story! Jak zwykle bomba! chciałbym być tak odważny jak ty! Ostatnio oglądałem twój film jak się przygotować na RTW itd. Naprawdę podziwiam za nowy start i za tyle odwagi. Ciągle ciężko mi uwierzyć że już dwa lata koła się kręcą! Myślę że gdyby ktoś robił albo ty chociaż jakiś polskie napisy, myślę że przyciągnęło by to dużo oglądających. Great video Kinga. Pleased to see that your new found friend is on the mend and re-cuperating in hospital. I try to use a less aggressive tyre so that it last's longer. Most times I get away with it. What work or what part's have you had to replace on your F800GS in the time you've being touring?

Thanks Frank. I prefer to use soft compound tires because they provide better grip off-road and they're so much safer on wet pavement. The things that failed on the road were only my rear shock and fuel pump. But I did some updates as well. It took me 5 years to set this bike the way I wanted. So the major changes are Outback Motortek engine guards and skid plate, TFX rear shock and progressive springs, Excel rims, Camel Tank, LED lamp (no name, got it from Ali express), Scotts steering damper, Akrapovic exhaust and few other mini details 😆

@@onherbike That makes sense! Certainly good to have the grip when you most need it. That certainly speaks volumes for the BMW's reliability if in all those miles you've only had issues with a rear shock. Rotax make very good engine's that's for sure. Also supply the aero industry. You're a legend-role model & a great Ambassador for motorcycling.
