It's all about risk management, if you know what you are doing do it, what seems dangerous to some may not be for others. I was/am a controlled risk taker and yeah been seriously injured but most of the time when I'm taking it easy. My worst injury on a motorcycle was falling over at 5 mph not doing a 100mph wheelie down the hwy or going 80mph across Baja in a desert race I have crashed doing those dangerous things and jumped right up it's the little crashes that really got me. Heck driving to work can be deadly. Do what you can to minimize risk but go out and live the adventure to the fullest. 🤙

When we explored the world and discovered amazing places , know one said it was dangerous we had no heath and safety we had no training to sail to far away places . No fancy dive equipment no radios no gps . Live was lived and accidents happened but we lived and more after enough lived to tell the story

Anyone experienced or not needs to know, this is not a badge of honor, what he did there was not brave, just reckless. If you love your life and would like to extend it as long as you possibly can, to go on as many adventures as you can, then do not "push your limits" by freediving alone, whether you're a 10m diver or a 60m diver. I'm no saint myself I've spearfished alone, but less than a third of my max depth, and my intervals went up to triple my bottom time minimum, far from my limits, and yes even then it was dumb, better divers than most have died for making smaller mistakes than this.
