9:35 something else to note about Impeding Traps, if you happen to be playing Red Mage, or one of the other casters, Echo Drops (medicine/potion, you can find these being sold by apothecary merchants in City-States for 99 gil a pop) will completely remove the Silence debuff, allowing you to continue casting spells immediately, highly recommend bringing these if you're playing a caster

I know angelusdemonus has a HoH astro clear. Which isn't exactly quite what you're looking for, but it may help understand some situations AST can find themselves in. I know Maygi also has had a couple streams where she has tried to run as an AST so probably check our some of her VODS as well. Good luck on clear :)

I stepped into solo potd for the first time and so far am up to floor 90. I’ve been very lucky in that I have all pommanders capped already and have found a large number of bronze chests but so far the only potsherd I’ve gotten was clearing floor 50

Like, comment, and favorite. I have the most trouble with the floor 30 boss if I can get there. If it isn't that boss, it's the final sting or dissolve that gets me. With things being "retuned" in the stat squish, I'm worried that there's going to be too much reduction in the 50-60 range and floors 190+ are going to be even more impossible.

"Should" remain unchanged, and the necromancer title is not something they balance for, it's in the catagory of things that if it breaks, it'll stay broken.

Saves every 10 levels. So xan leave and come back every 10 levels as long as you don't delete tge save file.

Yo, cool vid. Quick question. I'm a little confused about this whole aetherpool thing. If you die, do you lose all aetherpool you've collected up to the last save point? Like lets say your going from 20-30 or whatever and you die to the boss on 30. Would you lose all of the one's you've collected on that run from 20-30 and start back at the aetherpool you had at 20? Is aetherpool seperated like one stat for groups and one stat for solo? If you wanted to farm 99 do you just grind party/solo until you have 99?

Thank you! So no, you do not lose your aetherpool arms/armor if you end up failing a floor. Once you open a silver chest and see the prompt "aetherpool x has increased +1" it has increased permanently for your character. Also, if you run PotD as a group or solo your aetherpool stays the exact same there is no separation between the two. As for farming 99/99 aetherpool arms and armor you can go about it in many different ways. I personally just played PotD normal leveling up some jobs in a party with friends to make the grind less boring. You could also try and practice soloing palace starting at floor 50 and grabbing all the silver chests you see. You realistically can get to floor 140ish before enemies start slapping you around without 99/99. There is no efficient method here, just collect silver chests however way you want. :) Edit: My mistake here, you actually do lose aetherpool arms/armor if you fail to complete the 10 floors that you are on.

Yes you will lose it. You have to clear the set boss to get any aetherpool permanently or loot bags found during the current set. You do keep potsherds and potions as soon as you find them

HoH is generally considered "easier" than PotD. The bosses are not as punishing as palace, but the in between floors themselves house some really difficult mobs. Still difficult just the approach is executed differently.

Looking up guides will help, then turnning in pot shards for regean potions. Since you’re bard, using your esuna ability (forgot what’s called but it removes a detrimental effect) when passafied. Use your ability interrupt for minics, kite bosses, etc.

Would you say that this achievement is leading more toward hard or grindy? I really want to go for this, but what turns me off is the prerequisite needed for the highest chance of clear. I feel like the prerequisites are the hardest part. Everything else seems a standard, "watch youtube, then go in" kind of deal. Of course, I don't have the title, I obviously don't know what I am talking about so I do apologize if this question comes off as rude. But, with that said, I found this video to be very helpful. It is certainly both but it definitely leans both ways at different points. In my honest opinion, until you get to floor 171+ Palace really is not that difficult (if you are on the "meta" jobs) but getting to that point is a grind. Dying on say floor 180 and having to restart from the very beginning and make it back is a grind and a very boring one I think. In my head I think of it as a grind until I get to 171+ then that's when the difficulty of Palace really shows and you will be forced to make some informed decisions. Ex. Do I burn a steel pomander fighting an ape or Do I have to use a rage because there are absolutely no enemies I can fight here with out getting two shot. But yes there is definitely an entry barrier of things needed to start the Palace journey BUT you can still get pretty far with uncapped aetherpool arms/armor and lack of sustaining potions. It may not be a clear, but it helps learning the mechanics on the way. I'd say the achievement is hard because it is a grind because the content can be very punishing and mistakes can add up and result to a lost run of x amount of hours.
