On low mobility weapons, the second hit of the 3-hit combo is one of the few attacks in the game I'd recommend blocking instead of dodging. It allows you to safely reset your dodge counter, as you'll either dodge the second hit with your first dodge anyways, or block the second hit and get pushed away from any elites by the Pogryn's knockback.

There is one tip people still don’t know; All classes can block the Plague Ogryn’s charge attack. You don’t have to be an Ogryn yourself, nor countercharge into it. So long as you are maintaining your guard as it hits, all that will happen is some knockback. It doesn’t sound like much, but it’s saved my life numerous times where I’d otherwise be knocked off the map.

I started playing last week, and the main thing i learned from this is that the charge is blockable lol, i always would try to dodge it like a mutant and fail xd

yeah, you can block any of the attacks but the overhead pound and stomp can punch through your toughness and will break your block if memory serves. Dodge dancing is key. But blocking the charge is an important stop mechanic, just don't be near a dropoff as it has knockback.
