United have a 4yr rebuild on there hands. On klopps first day at lfc, he said he'd win a title within his first 4 yrs, he's made good on that promise, even though he could've done it his first 2 seasons.. He has been here 4yrs with 3 more left on his contract.. The epl looks in Liverpools hands bcuz I believe pep will focus on UCL next season that's what the oil shiekhs brought him in to do, win the UCL just like Psg not some epl title that even macini was able to win with that amount of money they spend. Klopp proved you don't need to spend ridiculous bank to reach back to back champions league finals.

Yes Pogba needs to step up his consistency but its only Pogba doing anything on the other hand. 35 games and directly involved with 22 goals as a midfielder who must also defend which he made the 5th most tackles with Herrera, Matic, Young and Shaw winning more and they are the defensive players in the squad He scored and assisted the most also hit the woodwork the most, he is the midfielder doing the forwards job, thats the biggest problem its all on Pogba and when he doesnt play well the team is shit and makes him an even bigger target for fans. You say we needed to free up Pogba yet he put in the best numbers he ever had thats including his Juventus days but its not enough because we cant defend and others dont score enough goals or create enough chances. Edit: If he wants to leave then he can, the only outfield world class player and has the numbers to prove he is the best at the club wants to win trophies its better for his own career and fans can stop talking bullshit about a player who is by far the best and most consistent of all the other players on the pitch

Spot on. It is all about getting the best from Pogba. Even the players in the team see Pogba walking around i the field and feel they also dont need to run much. Pogba departure might set us free. Fred needs more time and he will get better. We need to very good mid and a very good CB and we are good to go for now.

I always try to be optimistic. I have full faith if Ole is given the time and the backing he will succeed. The problem is where the backing is coming from i.e our board, i have absolutely no faith. Almost 2 years on, would say Ole has done a fantastic job with the team, we today have one of the best teams in the league and Ole has built it piece by piece, started by reinforcing the defense, then strengthed the midfield and now we have world class attackers also while consistently giving academy grads like Greenwood, McTominay and Henderson first team time. For the first time since 2013 I genuinely feel we have a title winning team

John smith easy answer, because he was not as consistent as Shaw was. Pogba was try to do the roll of 3 players because Matic was terrible and Fred and Mctommany weren’t consistent at all. He performed best when Herrera was in the midfield with him doing the dirty work. No one player can carry a midfield on his own. You swap Pogba out of this midfield, and put in David Silva, Bernardo Silva, DeBruyne, Ferbinho, Erickson, ANY one of the top midfielders in the league and they would struggle for consistency as well. If we do end up selling Pogba and not properly replacing him? You will see this midfield get completely ran through by opponents this season.

Not a United fan but Higgingbottom is by far the best spoken pundit going. He was great during the league play offs and is great every time he's on here.
