Did you have to remove the Ring jumper wire in the original chime or keep it on?

Do you know if the 24v is working, do you need to charge the doorbell/camera or will the 24v charge it?

Thank you ring for not including any instructions OR jumper. Ring Video Doorbell Wired requires a jumper cable to bypass the existing doorbell chime and provide power to the doorbell.

i dont know why this video has no comment but thanks definitely thought i was going crazy because before when u cut the breaker nd turn it on my bell use to ring once i put the ring camera into the system nothing but the the actual ring camer and video part was working

Most doorbell transformers are located in your attic. Usually close to your heater. Try checking there. Should be installed near the receptacle.

Same problem. I just use my Alexa orb to act as a door bell and didnt bother installing the transformer.
